The Airport of Aparecida is coming to meet a badly-served demand, regarding the good keeping and maintenance of aircrafts in Goiânia. The growth of the aviation market shows, in medium and long terms, that in the next 15 years the number of executive aircrafts in the country will be over 25 thousand, continuing with the growth rhythm felt in Brazil, towards becoming the fifth largest fleet in the world s economy by Before this scenario, Aparecida de Goiânia City Hall, through the Secretariat for Industry and Trade, in partnerships with the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), has studied the feasibility of building an airdrome in the city, in order to meet the regional demand and allow the construction of hangars for aircraft s maintenance. 3 Convention Center of Anapolis Construction of the Convention, Culture and Agriculture Center of Anapolis, to ensure an environment conducive to the development of businesses and the performance of cultural events in the Anapolis area. Furthermore, the Culture and Convention Centers in the municipalities of Goiania and Brasilia present demand above their capacity, thus making necessary the scheduling far in advance, reinforcing the fact that the Convention, Culture and Agriculture Center of Anapolis shall be widely demanded, becoming a Convention Center reference in the State of Goias, and positioning itself as a major alternative to Goiania s and Brasilia s Convention Centers. Located between the State capital, Goiania, and the Federal capital, Brasilia, Anapolis is located at the intersection of two major highways axes, the BR-153 highway, in the north-south direction, and the BR-060 highway, in the eastwest direction, and at the integration point between the North-South Railroad and the Central-Atlantic Railroad. Besides the strategic location, said municipality houses the Agro-industrial District of Anapolis DAIA, the greater of its kind in Brazil s North-Center region, with a strong pharmaceutical, automotive, defense and aeronautic vocation. DAIA houses the 4th largest pharmaceutical center of the country, the 2nd in the production of generic drugs, as well as an Interior Customs Station Porto Seco Centro-Oeste, which improves the competitiveness of companies by conferring speed to importation and exportation operations. 4 Aparecidatec Technological Park APARECIDATEC Technological Park comes up as a privileged space for the development of innovation networks, which work as inductors for the concentration of laboratories of R&D I of technology-based companies in the Mid-West region. It creates a widespread effect in the regional economy by the provision of services, for the favorable environment for businesses and innovation, for using highly skilled manpower in new technologies, by the remarkable presence of masters and doctors and for the improvement in urban life quality. These effects favor the development of new high added value activities in the region and the increase on productivity of the local companies already established via technology transfer. The proposal for an implantation study of the technological park lies in the expectation of creating a strategy alliance between Scientific and Technological Institutions (ICTs), public companies and agencies, aiming at a bigger interaction between education institutions, favoring the exchange of experiences, generation, transference and dissemination of the knowledge, from IT and technology. The proposal for the APARECIDATEC Technological Park is to go after a proximity with the companies, trying to identify their technological demands and fulfill them, contributing this way to the companies growth, the ICTs and the society in general.
