2 MARCH Course Outlines: Time Management The Time Management Workshop introduces the participant to the value of managing their time and expert time management habits. Through lecture, discussion, exercises and practical examples, the participant identifies areas that can be improved, recognizes time wasters and chooses the approach that best suits their personality and situation. The end result is greater success in realizing goals, more control over the use of time, balance in personal and work activities and increased personal satisfaction. Managing Conflict Experts recognize that skilful handling of conflict will increase productivity, reduce stress, improve working relationships and build commitment to a shared vision. The Managing Conflict workshop helps the participants understand the principles of conflict management, identify their usual conflict approaches, examine different models and use this information to choose appropriate conflict management approaches for their situations. Communication skills are identified as vital to managing conflict. The communication skills covered in the workshop Communication: The Key to Successful Interpersonal Skills establish a foundation for this workshop Client Customer Service Good customer service is one of the most important factors governing business. The quality of customer service is the determinant of the success of a business. This one day workshop will provide instruction, interactive communication with participants and quizzes and tips as to how to provide excellent Customer/Client Service.

3 APRIL Course Outlines: Administrative Assistant This 3 day course has been developed to give participants greater knowledge of the roles of administrative assistants, what their responsibilities are and how to succeed in fulfilling those responsibilities. Communication Records Management Minute Taking Basics In Word Processing Writing Business Correspondence Basics In Excel Basic Accounting Procedures This is a 3 day workshop intended to enlighten participants who have little or no experience in accounting or bookkeeping, or who want to refresh their knowledge on how Bookkeeping/Accounting Procedures affect an organization This course would provide valuable knowledge to have in order to take the Computerized Bookkeeping in Simply Accounting course. Basic Microsoft Outlook For many of us is a vital part of our everyday lives. This course will give you a closer look into features that will show you how to communicate effectively with your colleagues. In this 3 hour course the instructor will guide the participant through the software. Basic Excel This course developed to assist the new Excel user in using this Microsoft program. Through computer based exercises the instructor will guide the participant through the process of creating their own excel spreadsheet.

4 Basic Word Processing This course has been developed to assist the new Word Processing user in using this Microsoft program. Through computer based exercises the instructor will guide the participant through the process of creating their own documents. Basic PowerPoint This one day course has been developed to assist the new Power Point user in using this Microsoft program. Through computer based exercises the instructor will guide the participant through the process of creating their own slide presentation. Computerized Sage 50 (Simply Accounting) Computers have become a necessity in information processing. This three day course will provide the participant with the hands-on training to process business financial transactions in a computerized Sage 50 (Simply) setting.
