3 Prerequisites : Technical 1. Browser : Mozilla FireFox 2. System should be installed with Adobe Flash Player as instructed by the application when it is accessed for the first time. 3. Type ( on your browser to access the system. Busniess 1. Both buyer/seller needs to have account with the brokers. 2. The buyer need to deposit money with the brokers inorder to trade any time. 3. The seller need to have shares of a company. RSEB Market: The Online Trading System can only be accessed during the trading days/hours specified by the RSEB. Trading Days at present 1. Monday 2. Wednesday 3. Friday Trading Hours 1. Pre-open 10:00 AM 2. Open 10:30 AM 3. Close 03:00 PM Pre-open Here the price discovery of the shares are computed, all the orders will be queued by the system. Open As soon as the Market opens, the trades starts executing. Once the trades has been executed it cannot be rollbacked or cancel. Close After the market closes, the system is inaccessable and no one can place the orders and trades cannot take place. 3

4 Step 1: Provide the User Name and Password in the Login screen to access the application. 4

5 The main window of the application appears as above. Once the user is logged in, follow the following steps: To View the Market: Step 1: Go to Watch Menu> then click Market Then the following window appears: 5

6 To add the symbols/companies to the Market Watch Window (as shown above), for monitoring the buy and sell orders placed on those symbols/companies. Perform the following steps: Step 1: Go to Reports menu > click Symbol Browser 6

7 Step 2: After you click the Symbol Browser, Following window appears, select the Exchange as RSEB and Market as REG from the drop down list. Step 3: Click Add To Watch against each Symbol, so that this symbol appears on Market watch Once you finish clicking the Add to Watch, the symbol appears on the market watch as shown below: Only those companies which you choose to see on the market watch will display the best sell and buy orders. 7

8 How to place Buy Order: Step 1: Go to menu Order > Click Buy Step 2: Select Exchange: RSEB, Market: REG, Symbol : <enter the symbol in which you want to place order> Volume: <enter the volume you want to buy>, Price: <enter the price you are willing to bid/buy>, Account: <enter your CD account number provided by the broker> Step 3: Press Enter key(on your keyboard) for first time, it will show confirmation message for your verification, then press Enter again to confirm. Now your order has been placed. ( Remember!! Only if your order is the best order in the market, then only it will be displayed on the market watch, the system will just put your order in the queue till it meets the best order criteria). 8

9 The Buy order window is show as below: Example: In the above buy order, client having CD code provided by the broker U is placing the order to buy 12 BBPL shares at Nu As mentioned on first hit of Enter key the message will show a confirmation < BUY 12 shares of BBPL at 140 per share? >. Once he confirms, and hits the Enter key again the order will be placed. The placed orders will be show in the market watch window only if it is the best orders in the market. 9

10 How to place Sell Order: Step 1: Go to menu Order > Click Sell Step 2: Select Exchange: RSEB, Market: REG, Symbol : <enter the symbol in which you want to place order> Volume: <enter the volume you want to sell>, Price: <enter the price you are willing to Ask/sell>, Account: <enter your CD account number provided by the broker> Step 3: Press Enter key(on your keyboard) for first time, it will show confirmation message for your verification, then press Enter again to confirm. Now your order has been placed. ( Remember!! Only if your order is the best order in the market, then only it will be displayed on the market watch, the system will just put your order in the queue till it meets the best order criteria). The Sell order window is show as below: Example: In the above buy order, client having CD code provided by the broker U is placing the order to buy 12 BBPL shares at Nu As mentioned on first hit of Enter key the message will show a confirmation < SEL 12 shares of BBPL at 140 per share? >. Once he confirms, and hits the Enter key again the order will be placed. The placed orders will be show in the market watch window only if it is the best orders in the market. 10

11 How to Change Orders: The orders that are placed can be changed by the clients anytime provided that the trading of the placed order has not been executed. Step 1: Go to Reports menu > Click Working Orders Step 2: Once the working order appears, click on the order you want to change. Step 3: Once a yellow color window appears with Change caption, change the volume and price as you desire. The following picture shows you the process: In the above picture, there was a sell order of for TBL, to change the order you can update the Volume or Price for TBL as you want. Once you change either price or volume press Enter two times (first time it shows confirmation, and on second press of Enter key, it places the changed order in the market). 11

12 How to Cancel Orders: The orders that are placed can be canceled by the clients anytime provided that the trading of the placed order has not been executed. Step 1: Go to Reports menu > Click Working Orders Step 2: Once the working order appears, (Method 1:) Hold Ctrl key on your keyboard and double click on the order you want to change. (Method 2: ) Remember the Order Number from the working order window, Go to > Order menu >Click Cancel; there enter the order number and press Enter key twice. The following picture shows you the process: In the above picture, there was a sell order of for TBL, to cancel the order enter the order number(335 in the above case) in the Ref #: field and press Enter twice.(first time it shows confirmation, and on second press of Enter key, it cancels the order from the market). Once the order is canceled it will be no longer available in the market for trading. 12

13 How to see Messages on Marker States and state of your orders: Step 1: Go to Watch menu > click Messages How to Change your Password: Step 1: Go to Settings menu > click Change Password Step 2: In the Change Password interface, enter your Current Password and the New Password. Step 3: Click Change button to finish password change. 13
