5 ACCOUNT TYPES On our website their are 2 types of e-document (electronic Document) sections, Wholesale and Trade. The e-documents within each section are Priced according to the type of account they are associated with. If you are an- Account Holder: use the Wholesale documents (a 4 digit password is required to open them). SP2 (Selling Price 2) as seen in our Price Guides, (SHOPS & WhSALE) for Shops & Wholesalers. Non-Account Holder: use the Trade documents. SP (Selling Price ) as seen in our Price Guides, (NON ACC Our Price) for Trade counter etc. USERS GUIDE Online documents are priced according to the type of Account they are accosiated with. Printed Catalogues are NOT priced, but a printed version of our Price Guide is available. The QR Code at the beginning of each section within our Catalogues (the Quick Page Guide s) is linked to the appropriate Price Guide according to the type of Account the Catalogue is associated with, you can Scan Click Tap these QR Codes. We have designed and developed our website and e-documents to work on the latest Internet connected devices. To see which software and devices are compatible to view our e-documents, Click Tap on the device button, within either of the Wholesale and Trade document sections. Download the Adobe Reader app for mobile devices via your devices App store. QR Codes One of the biggest features of our documents is the use of QR Codes (Quick Response codes). Get our exact location using your devices Map App, such as Google Maps. To read QR Codes use a Barcode reader app on your Smartphone or Tablet, available from your devices App store. The better the devices camera the quicker and better it will scan the QR Codes.. The following example shows a smartphone scanning the QR Code on the front cover of our catalogue to access the e-commerce System. 8 PDF E-DOCUMENTS using Adobe Reader NB: Some web browsers will open our documents in their own PDF readers, we recommend you change this so that the e-documents open in Adobe Reader so you have access to the features shown below. All PDF Documents are downloaded onto your device. We recommend deleting old copies of our documents before downloading the latest versions. Similar to the Contents and Quick Page Guides of our Catalogues but go into further details. Select Tool: Use the Select tool to copy text from one document to another. example: copy an Order Code from the Catalogue and paste it into the Price Guides Find (search). To open / view another document: (8) 2 From the Tool Menu Click on [File]. (8) 3 Click and select the document listed at the bottom. 10 Mobile Devices Switching between Documents We are going to presume you have already downloaded our latest documents &p3. Open Adobe Reader:- (8) Select which document to open. To open / view another document: Tap once in the centre of the document If you can t see the Tool bars. (8) 2 Tap on the left arrow. (8) 3 Tap on the document you want to open from the Recents list. 11 Deleting Documents on PC s There are far too many options for deleting documents on these devices it would be impossible to detail every scenario. The following applies to MS Windows 7. With the Document Open, to find out were the e-document is stored on your device: [Right Click] in the centre of the e-document (8) Click on [Document Properties...] You will now see the Documents Properties window: (8) 2 Click on the [Description] tab at the top. (8) 3 Click on the location to open the folder that contains the e-document. 2 3 Deleting Documents on Mobile Devices The following describes how to delete old Documents from your Mobile device before you download the latest version/s. 4 Tool bars Open Adobe Reader:- 5 Tap once in the centre of the document If you can t see the Tool bars. (8) 4 Tap on the left arrow. (8) 5 Tap on Recents. (8) 6 Tap on and select Documents. (8) 7 Press on the document until it is highlighted. 6 (8) 8 Tap on the icon. Tap on the [OK] button to confirm. The information in both the Flipbook and PDF e-documents is the same; the difference is how they work and which devices they work on. Due to software changes on Smartphones and Tablets, the latest devices will not run Flipbook documents correctly, if at all. The following uses the Tabs at the top of your web browser, all the latest web browsers have the (8) Tab function. Getting the latest Information NB: for this example we are using the Trade documents, the process is the same for both the Trade and Wholesale. The following example is presuming you have a printed Catalogue and using one of our e-price Guides. In these examples we will be searching for information about the Order Code: 3000E on page B02. You should have received a copy of our Price Guide with your printed copy of our Catalogue. We recommend you use the following e-price Guides with your copy of our printed Catalogue, to get the latest information as these are updated every working day. NB: PDF versions need to be download to get the latest version &p3, ensure old copies are deleted first &p8. Flipbook version 2 3 Open the e-price Guide &p0- (8) Click on the Search tab. 22 USING BOTH E-DOCUMENTS TO SEARCH FOR A PRODUCT We recommend using our Order Codes (Product Codes) when searching for a product, to get the latest prices & availability. If your using e-documents on either PC s or Mobile devices, you should know how to copy and paste text from one document into another, these techniques make it easier and quicker to find the information your looking for. NB: The following applies to PDF (using Adobe Reader) and Flipbook e-documents. The principles also applies to the Mobile Adobe Reader App version (refer to your devices hand book for copying and pasting). It is not possible to Copy text within a Flipbook, you will have to make a note of the Order Code your going to search for, also refer to the Switching between Documents &p6 & p7.
