Our operation is underpinned by a willingness to understand your requirements and tailor an appropriate program. As an RTO we have met the government requirements that are associated with the Australian Quality Framework. As a private provider, AWFA acknowledges the importance of matching training material with job relevance. This relevance is fundamental to our training programs and the commitment to applied knowledge has enabled AWFA to become leaders in the field of workplace training. We understand the importance of competency-based learning used in conjunction with theory and practice. Competency based learning is an ideal tool for staff working within your organization enabling the learning process to become more interactive, efficient and relative to their careers. Mission Statement AWFA is an industry leader by providing quality, flexible and innovative training that is tailored to the client s needs. Training is outcome driven with an aim to advance the skills and knowledge of the clients we serve. Our team takes pride in their contribution to the ongoing commercial success of our company Quality of Content Based on the university model of resource development, our training materials are cutting edge with the most up to date learning strategies and content. We are one of the few RTO s to employ a full time resource development team who incorporate objective outcomes, required skill/competencies and skill gap assessments relevant to your industry. Our content strictly conforms to the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards and is continuously updated to ensure you have access to only the latest resources and training techniques. Additionally, AWFA conducts monthly quality audits Australia Wide to ensure we maintain the highest standards of training delivery. Our Trainers To ensure consistent delivery of high standard programs, AWFA employ trainers who share our commitment to meeting your operational objectives, but more importantly educating every person in saving lives. As an internal Quality Assurance requirement, all facilitators have full qualifications in their field of expertise along with a minimum 5 years industry experience. As such, our trainers play an integral role in the stability of our programs, and provide experiential facilitation. Our First Aid programs incorporate activities that allow discovery instead of researching or being told what needs to be learned. Flexible delivery In a service driven market place, we understand that the implementation of learning programs with minimal impact on staff down times is paramount to our corporate client s operational needs. AWFA trainers conduct courses day or evening, group or individual, onsite at your workplace or at one of our community training facilities. AWFA will contact all individual Cerebral Palsy League employees who require CPR recertification or an Apply First Aid Course to ensure their certification is up to date and in line with the Australia Resucitaion Council guidelines. 3 P a g e

4 Solution Development AWFA endeavors to form a close working relationship with all its clients. We are committed to working with your organisation to identify key areas of efficiency improvement. The AWFA approach to solution development is strongly outcome driven and our programs are structured to achieve these outcomes. Over the past 9 years our ability to build long term relationships has depended on our commitment to the needs of our clients. Contextualisation of Content Our resource development team can partner with all key stakeholders within your organisation to include your own workplace policies, procedures and training material into the course content. The resultant benefit is a tailored training system which can be applied across your entire company. Training can be tailored specifically to your workplace environment and includes instruction relating to anticipated risks, hazards & injuries. Training Delivery The fundamental reason for our company s success is the quality of training we provide employees. AWFA provides a training program that addresses individual learning capacities and backgrounds. Our teams of dedicated trainers are willing to implement a wide variety of learning applications to ensure all participants have an opportunity to improve their skills and competencies. Depending on the nature of the program, our courses are typically delivered via combination learning and assessment strategies, these include Face to face trainer led theory classes Practical sessions/simulations Observations Assessment tasks AWFA will contact all individual Cerebral Palsy League employees who require CPR re-certification or an Apply First Aid Course to ensure their certification is up to date and in line with the Australia Resuscitation Council guidelines. Trainer Commitment AWFA trainers are committed to delivering quality training and are supported by a proactive internal network. In order to gain maximum benefit from the sessions, we endeavor to match our facilitators to your staff s culture. We also understand that a learning environment provides an excellent forum to observe your staff s strengths and weaknesses. As such, our trainers can provide management with performance feedback at completion of the course. Our trainers are available outside scheduled workshop times for staff assistance and we set a service level expectation for queries to be responded to within 24hrs. As assessments form an integral part of the program, our trainers provide a 7 day turnaround on project/assignment marking. In line with our continuous development policy, AWFA appreciates the value of feedback from participants in our courses. Currently, participant surveys are conducted every three months aimed at gauging quality of content, presenter s knowledge, delivery, standard of equipment. As part of their employment agreement with AWFA, all trainers must undertake regular professional development to ensure their skills are up to date with Australian National Training Authority guidelines. 4 P a g e
