TO REGISTER ONLINE OR FOR MORE INFORMATION VISIT PENNCMEONLINE.COM/ NODE/57378 WHO SHOULD ATTEND This symposium is designed for healthcare professionals who work with adults and offer prostate cancer related care (urologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists and primary care physicians); public health professionals and policymakers who develop, implement, and/or evaluate programs/policies related to prostate cancer prevention and control; survivors and advocates who promote prostate cancer awareness and education. OVERVIEW The Prostate Cancer Evidence Academy will be a one-day CME/CNE-certified conference to present the latest evidence, research, and model programs that are proven effective or being studied to improve prostate cancer prevention, control, treatment, and survivorship. The goal of the event is to engage clinicians, public health professionals, policy makers, and patients/survivors to reduce the burden of prostate cancer and bridge the gap between research and practice. Breakout sessions will be conducted in three tracks clinical, public health/policy, and survivorship/advocacy allowing attendees to focus on and discuss the most relevant and applicable information and tools to apply to their practice settings. LEARNING OBJECTIVES At the completion of this course, participants should be able to: Discuss findings from current research studies and evidence-based practices that address prostate cancer prevention, control, and treatment Identify policies, interventions, programs and resources in Southeastern Pennsylvania that address prostate cancer prevention, control, and treatment Engage key stakeholders, organizations and networks involved in prostate cancer prevention, control, and treatment Articulate at least one action item based on the tools and information provided by the conference model
