3 Our Company I.R.EM.s.r.l. has been working in the electromechanical fi eld since I.R.EM.s.r.l was established in 1987 as a design and construction fi rm of electrical plants, working exclusively on the installation of LV/MV electrical cabins and low voltage switchboards. Then, in 1993, it became I.R.EM.s.r.l. Over these 20 years I.R.EM. s.r.l. has enlarged its activity facing the requests of a changing market and progressively extending it to the water treatment and the industrial automation fi elds. Nowadays I.R.EM. s.r.l. can offer turnkey solutions for the designing, the construction, the start- up, the maintenance and the management of water treatment and transfer plants, LV/MV cabins, switchboards and complex systems of automation. 3

5 Areas of business 2. Technological plants I.R.EM.s.r.l. designs and build electrical plants for the industrial, service and civil sectors. It can provide the design, testing, star -up, technical documentation, certifi cations and after sale assistance. 3. LV/MV Cabins We can design,build and install prefabricated and customized electrical cabins compliant to the current EU directives and the national standards by using the best equipments and the primary trademarks. 5

Switchboards Thanks to its 20-year experience and its up-to-date certifi ed quality system procedures I.R.EM s.r.l. can design and build many kinds of switchboards for its customers. All I.R.EM.s.r.l. projects are carried out paying great attention to all safety equipment issues in compliance with the 89/392 EU Directive, to electromagnetic consistency standards in compliance with the 89/336 EU Directive and to the harmonization of low voltage equipments in compliance with the 73/23 EU Directive, with the most strict respect of the EN rules of reference. The technical documentation is extremely important in order to provide our customers with a product of excellence and high standard after sale assistance. 7 Areas of business 5. Systems of automation To build a truly and fully functional automation system it is fundamental that each component is totally integrated in the plant. I.R.EM. s.r.l. has specialized in this. Important fi rms like Schneider Electric and Wit Italia have recognized the great experience matured in this fi eld choosing IREM as their offi cial partner. In fact our company is able to follow its customers during the phases of project development in a systematic way through qualifi ed and standardized procedures: from problem-study to architecture control development, choosing the hardware and the communication nets specifi c for the type of application, to planning and developing the software, from the accomplishment of graphic interfaces to FATs and SATs, from the training courses to the technical assistance and maintenance of the installed systems.
