2 Create an account The LocalHop app will give you the option to skip the first pages of setting up your hopspots and categories, if you choose to skip you can still add them once logged into the application. Creating an account is free and will allow you to save your hopspots, follow organizations and favorite events. Type in your first name, last name, address and create a password that you will remember. Login with Facebook Login using facebook credentials as verification. Once logged in, go to account settings and turn on "Allow login through your Facebook account" setting.

3 Main dropdown menu The dropdown menu options change depending on if you are in the hopspot view or organization view Hopspots button The Hopspots button allows you to view your hopspots and your nearby me events by swiping between pages. The greenlight will show the page you are on. Quick Guide Favorites button When selected, this will show all events that have been favorited Organizations button The organization tab allows you to view the organizations that you follow by swiping the screen left and right just like the Hopspot view Pick date button Search for events on a specific date by selecting the "pick date" button Event listing The event summary will include the name of the event, the organization, time, city and venue Event Detail link The event detail link provides additional information and options for the event. From here you can select the ping on the map and get google directions to the event, add to your calendar, favorite, follow, share and if registration is required you will find the link on this page more/expanded event options button This button will open up the options above. Share with friend, add to favorites or add to your calendar Main menu button The menu will take you to additional options, home (which is "nearby me" default page), categories, and settings

4 My Hopspots - View your saved Hopspots or add additional hopspots to your account. You can also access the "Nearby Me" function under this icon. A HopSpot is an area of interest, for which you want to see local events. You can begin adding hopspots by going to the dropdown at the top of the screen and selecting Add New Hopspot. Begin by naming your hopspot. If you want to see the events in the cities around where you live, you may choose to name your first hopspot Home. Type in the city or zip of the first community you would like to add to your hopspot and you will see a dropdown of all the closest cities. You can then begin adding communities or cities to your hopspot. Selected communities will show up in blue text with a checkmark. Once you are finished click on Done and Save. You have just saved your first hopspot! Your hopspot can be edited at any time. Create additional hopspots and easily go between them with a quick swipe left and right on your phone. We encourage you to create multiple hopspots for the areas that matter the most to you. Note: The series of dots on the bottom of your screen, indicate multiple organizations are being followed or multiple hopspots (depending on the current tab you are in). Tip: Currently this feature is only available in the LocalHop app, hopspots will be accessible on the website in future updates.

5 Organizations - view the organizations you are following and search for others. With LocalHop you can discover new events and organizations you might never have known about. If you click on the Organizations tab on the home screen, you can start searching for organizations to follow. Just like your hopspots, you can then swipe between screens to view your favorite organizations and their upcoming events. As you discover new, fun events you can easily keep track of them by doing one of the following in the event options tab Share - easily share this event with friends and family Add to favorites - your favorites can then be viewed by selecting the heart icon in the top right corner of the application Event options tab Add to your native phone calendar with one click

6 The Nearby Me page will show all of the events within 5 miles of your current location. You can find the nearby me option under the Hopspots tab. You will know you are on the nearby me page when you see the green arrow lit up on the botton of your phone. Tip: The Nearby me page does not take into account category filters, be sure to read the event descriptions to see event tags.

7 Click on the event name link in orange Events The event detail page gives you multiple options for the event as well as an event description, categories, date, time, city organization and event venue. Other options offered on this page include... Google maps directions to event (by clicking/ selecting the orange ping on the map at the top) Add to calendar Favorite the event Follow the organization Share the event with family and friends More...link to additional information, website or registration Event detail page

8 Main Menu Categories - Select categories to filter out events that are not of interest Home - The home icon will bring you back to the "Nearby Me" default homepage. My Account - Change your account name, or password. Also change notification settings, report a problem or log out of application. You can also edit your categories, Hopspots and Organizations.
