2 Online and Mobile Banking User Guide On August 10, 2016 we re upgrading your online and mobile banking experience! With online banking from any device desktop, phone, and tablet you ll be able to bank anywhere, anytime, like never before! 3 Online Banking Access On August 10, 2016 we upgraded our online and mobile banking experience. If you are an existing user of FAB&T Online Banking, you ll need to complete a few easy steps to enroll and begin using all the upgraded services. Existing Users Step 1: Visit fabandt.com and enter your current User ID just as you did with our previous online system and click Login. 1. Enter your User ID and click Login. 3

4 Step 2: The first time you log in to the new Online Banking, you must enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number. You will then be directed to enter a new password. 2. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Trouble Shooting If you do not enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number, you will receive this error. 4

5 Step 3: Create a New Password. You must first enter your Existing Password, which is now the last four of your Social Security Number. You may then enter a New Password of your choosing. Note that the requirements for the password are shown. Last four of Social Security Number. New Password Step 4: Create a unique Security Phrase. This phrase will be displayed to you each time that you log in to Online Banking. The purpose of the phrase is so that you will know at a glance that, without a doubt, this is your Online Banking portal. A Security Phrase, unlike a Password, has no restrictions or special requirements; it can be whatever you choose: a name, car, song, title, sports team, etc. If you ever do not recognize the phrase when logging in, do not continue. Contact FAB&T immediately. 4. Create a Security Phrase Here. 5

6 Step 5: Next, choose and answer five (5) Security Questions. You may choose a question from the drop-down box, or you may create your own. The answers you create are not case-sensitive. 5. Choose and answer five (5) Security Questions. New Feature You can now create your own customized questions if you d like. 6

7 Step 6: Verify your Profile/Preferences. If you would like to edit the way your name appears when you are in Online Banking, you can change that here (First Name and Last Name fields). This will NOT change any information on your statements or on your account. This is also where you can opt in/out of the Password Reset feature along with configuring other miscellaneous settings. If you select to Allow Password Reset, you will be able to request an automatic password reset once the system identifies you using the five Security Questions you set up. Otherwise, you ll need to contact FAB&T directly to access your account if you forget your password. Step 6: Enter your address. You must enter a valid address. You may enter in as many different addresses as you would like, but you must list at least one. 6. Verify your Profile/ Preferences using these fields. 7. Enter a valid address. 7

8 Final Step: Configure how you would like to receive your Security Code. The Security Code can be sent to you via Text Message (SMS) or Voice Phone Call (automated voice delivery). You will need a security code each time that you log in to Online Banking, unless you ask the system to remember your workstation. 1 You may choose to send a test message to that phone number, and you may also choose to nickname your number. 2 Select Security Code Delivery Channel 1 Note: For your security, you should never remember a workstation from a public location, such as a library or open-network environment. 2 Message and data rates apply. Such charges include those from your communications service provider. 8

This guide is designed to help you answer your questions about how Online Banking can help you conveniently and securely manage your finances online. After becoming an Online Banking customer, you ll find you are able to reduce the amount of time spent managing your finances. Welcome, and we hope you enjoy this quick and convenient guide to Online Banking! Enrollment To enroll in Online Banking, simply follow the steps below. Step 1: Visit fabandt.com and under MENU, choose Personal and click on Convenience Services. 1. Click Here 9

10 Step 2: Once on the Convenience Services page, click on here under Online Banking. Your life doesn t always allow you the opportunity to make it to a branch, or conduct business during normal operating hours. That s why we offer one of the best Online and Mobile Banking products on the market. Our Online and Mobile Banking platforms provide you with a consistent and seamless experience. Whether you are on a computer, smartphone or tablet; the look, feel and features will be consistent. Some of the most prominent features include: person-to-person transfers, secure Bill Pay anywhere at any time, the ability to send personalized gift checks or make charitable donations, view check images online and on our smartphone and tablet app, and the ability to deposit checks via your camera-enabled smartphone or tablet. You can do it all with online banking from FAB&T. To enroll in Online Banking, click here. 2. Click Here Step 3: Under New Users, click on register online. 3. Click Here 10

11 Step 4: You must view and accept our Online Banking Agreement before proceeding. To view the agreement, click the link Online Banking Agreement. 4. Click Here Step 5: Once you have read the agreement, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Close Window to return to the previous screen. Online Banking Agreement 5. Click Here 11

12 Step 6: Click Accept to proceed to the next step. 6. Click Here Step 7: Select the appropriate answer to Is this a Business? 7. Choose appropriate answer here. 12

13 Step 8: Enter your information into the fields shown. Please note that your information must match exactly how it appears on your account. 8. Enter your information in the fields. Step 9: Create a Username (minimum 6 characters) and a Password. Note that the requirements for the password are shown. 9. Create a Username & Password. 13

14 Step 10: Create a unique Security Phrase. This phrase will be displayed to you each time that you log in to Online Banking. 17 Download the New Mobile Banking App After the upgrade on August 10, 2016, you will need to download our new Mobile Banking App for your smartphone or tablet to access your accounts and utilize all of the great features. The old App will no longer work after this date. Below are instructions for Apple (ios) and Android devices. Step 1: iphone/ipad Users: Go to the Apple App Store and search for FAB&T. Android Users: Go to the Google Play Store and search for FAB&T. This should bring up our App as the first choice. Step 2: Download the app. To use the Mobile App users must first successfully enroll in FAB&T s new Online Banking. You may do this through your mobile device or through a computer. Once you have successfully enrolled, the same Login information is used to access Online Banking through the Mobile App or through a computer. 17

19 Mobile Deposit FAQ What is Mobile Deposit? Mobile Deposit is a service that allows FAB&T customers to electronically transmit an image of their check using a smartphone, computer, or tablet for deposit to their FAB&T checking account(s). How do I access Mobile Deposit? Mobile Deposit is a feature within FAB&T s Mobile Banking App. it can also be accessed through a computer by going to fabandt.com Do I have to be an FAB&T customer to use this service? Yes, you must be a customer in good standing with an open and active checking account. Who can use Mobile Deposit and how do I enroll? Any consumer customer with FAB&T s Internet Banking access and a valid address may use Mobile Deposit. You must accept the Services Agreement upon completion and submission to use this service. How do I know when I can begin using the service? You can use the Mobile Deposit service immediately after accepting the Services Agreement. What types of items can I deposit? Most paper checks can be deposited as long as they do not exceed your account s daily or monthly limits. What types of items cannot be deposited? Foreign checks, bonds, 3rd party checks, returned or re-deposited items, and rebate checks are not eligible for Mobile Deposit. Are there limits on my deposits? Yes, you are allowed to submit five items per day up to $5,000 per day. Can I increase my limit? Yes, please call to speak with a bank representative about increasing your Mobile Deposit limits. Your account must be in good standing and it is up to FAB&T whether or not we will increase your limit. Additional fees may also be applied. 19

20 When will I have access to the funds after I complete my deposit? Funds for Mobile Deposits made on business days before 3:00 p.m. Central Time (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) will normally be available no later than two business days from the day of deposit. FAB&T, in its sole discretion, may make such funds available sooner or may extend the hold period beyond two business days based on such factors as credit worthiness, the length and extent of your relationship with us, transaction and experience information and such other factors as FAB&T, in its sole discretion, deems relevant. Are there any special endorsement requirements for checks deposited through Mobile Deposit? Yes, all checks deposited through the service must be endorsed by any and all payees with a restrictive endorsement For mobile deposit only to FAB&T account no.. How many checks can be included in one deposit? One check per deposit is allowed at this time. How do I know the deposit was received? Within the Mobile Deposit tab you can click on Review Deposits to see the status of the deposits you ve made. It will show either pending or complete. The app won t accept my Mobile Deposit. What should I do? See our Mobile Deposit Helpful tips on page 21 for how to obtain the best image quality for quick and easy deposits. 20

21 Mobile Deposit Helpful Tips What s the best way to take a picture of my check? If the image is not clear enough, we ll ask you to retake your check images. Below are some tips to get a better picture. Bad Angle: Taking a picture at a bad angle, like the one below, won t work. Try holding your camera directly over the check. Good Angle: Holding your camera directly over the check makes for a better picture. Bad Background: Taking a picture on a similar colored background, won t work. Place the check on a contrasting background for the best result. Good Background: Taking a picture on a contrasting background gives the best result. Incomplete Picture: We can t accept your check if the edges are cut off in the picture. Try holding your mobile device further away when taking your picture. Complete Picture: You must take a picture of the entire check in order for it to be accepted. 21

22 Bad Lighting: Your check can t be too light or too dark. Make sure you have good lighting when taking your picture. Good Lighting: Make sure the lighting is good when taking your picture. Not Legible: If any of the numbers on the bottom of your check is covered up, we won t be able to read it, and you may need to get a new check. Legible: We must be able to read the complete MICR line (numbers on the bottom of your check). Signature Signature How do I endorse the back of my check? 1. Sign your name on the back. 2. 23 Bill Pay Our Online Bill Pay system lets you pay bills with confidence. You can even set up automatic payments to avoid late fees and missed due dates. Use Bill Pay for rent, mortgage, utilities, credit card bills, car payments, and other monthly bills. Payments At the top of your Bill Pay page, select the Payments tab. This will bring you to the Payments screen. From here you can select the: Add a Payee button to add a new business, person, bank, or credit union. Pay button to send a payment to an already set up/established Payee. Search button to find a specific Payee by name or nickname. Rush Delivery button to get a bill to its destination as quickly as possible. Make it Recurring button to make a payment automatic. Add Memo/Comment button to add a memo to the bottom of your check or create notes for yourself. Customer Name @gmail.com 23

24 Live Help Now secure, and personal chat is available while you are logged in to Bill Pay. Get realtime support with no compromise in service. It s completely secure. Live Chat is a huge time saver and is great to use if you re online but aren t able to talk on the phone. 25 Add a Payee Save time and money by paying your bills online or from our Mobile App. You can pay any bill, including mortgages, car loans, student loans, utilities, and credit cards. You can even pay individuals, like your landlord, handyman, or kid s music teacher! To Add a Payee, first grab your paper bill so that you can reference important information. Then follow these steps. Step 1: Select Add a Payee from the Payments tab. Customer Name @gmail.com 1. Click here. 25

26 Step 2: In the next window, you have the option to pay a company, a person, or a bank/ credit union. Select the appropriate response. Step 3: Click Next. To Pay a company, follow the below steps. Customer Name @gmail.com 2. Click on Pay a company to set up a new company Payee. 3. Click Next. 26

27 Step 4: Once you select Pay a company and click the Next button, the following window will appear. Fill in the required fields. Step 5: Click Next. Customer Name @gmail.com 4. Complete all the required fields. Wayne Enterprises Click Next. 27

28 Step 6: Next, you ll need to enter the mailing address before continuing. Optional Step: To help you stay organized, you may also add a category of your choosing, such as Utility Bills. 29 Pay A Bill Once a Payee is in the system, paying bills has never been easier. Pay your bills in minutes! Step 1: From your Payments screen, find the Payee you d like to send a payment to. Customer Name @gmail.com 1. Search for Payee here or scroll down to find Payee. 29

30 Step 2: Select the account you d like to pay the bill from. Customer Name @gmail.com 2. Select account here. Step 3: Enter the amount you d like to pay. Customer Name @gmail.com 3. Enter amount here. 30

31 Step 4: Choose the day you d like the payment to be made. Click on the calendar icon next to the Payment date column to see when the earliest payment date is. Customer Name @gmail.com 4. Chose Payment date here. Calendar Icon Click on the calendar icon to see when the earliest arrival date is. Calendar Icon: When you click on the calendar icon, a new window appears that shows you when the earliest arrival date is for a payment (in red). You may also choose any of the underlined dates. 31

33 Rush Delivery Bill Pay Sometimes life happens, and you need to get a bill to a company faster than usual. This isn t a problem with our new Online and Mobile banking platform. You can easily initiate expedited payments with the Rush Delivery option. FAB&T will overnight payments at a cost of $14.95 per payment or send it via two-day mail at a cost of $9.95 per payment. We guarantee on-time delivery for all Rush Payments. If not, you will be refunded up to $50 in late fees. Step 1: Find the Payee you d like to send a Rush Delivery payment to from the Payments tab. Customer Name @gmail.com 1. Search for Payee here or scroll down to find Payee. 33

34 Step 2: Select Rush Delivery from the Payments tab. Customer Name 2. Click here. 34

35 Step 3: Enter the amount. Step 4: Choose which account you d like to send the payment from. Step 5: You ll then see the following screen where you can choose which Rush Delivery option you d like either overnight or two-day delivery. Please note that a fee will be applied to each payment. 36 Set Up Recurring Payment Setting up a recurring payment is simple. Some bills, like car payments, insurance, or mortgage will likely stay the same each month. Automatic bill pay ensures your payments are made on time in the amount you designate. However, if you have something like credit card balances that are more varied, you may want to enter these amounts manually. To set up a recurring payment, follow the steps below. Step 1: Find the Payee you d like to set up an automatic payment for. Step 2: Select Make it Recurring. Customer Name @gmail.com 1. Search for Payee here or scroll down to find Payee. 2. 37 Step 3: Select which account you d like the recurring payment to come from. Step 4: Enter the amount. Customer Name @gmail.com 3. Select account. 4. Enter amount. 37

38 Step 5: Select the Frequency (how often you d like the payment to recur) from the drop down menu. Customer Name @gmail.com 5. Select how often you d like the payment to recur. 38

39 Step 6: Select when you d like the first payment to be sent. Step 7: Indicate if there s an end date. Optional: If you d like a memo to appear in the bottom of your check, enter it here. 40 Add a Memo/Comment You may add a memo to a check when making a payment through Bill Pay. The information entered in the memo section will be printed on the check for your Payee to view. You may also add a comment to your bills. The comments will only be seen by you. Step 1: First find the Payee that you d like to add it to. Step 2: Click on Add Memo/Comment.
