4 Highways & Routes I-35: The main North/South thoroughfare, I-35 leads through the heart of just about everything, but beware of rush hour traffic and backups. Mopac / Loop 1: Mopac loops west of downtown, offering a faster and less congested north/ south route than I /183-A: Leaving the airport, 183 travels north of Downtown into North Austin. From there, the 183-A toll road provides access to Cedar Park and Leander. SH-45 Toll Road: Connecting SH-130, I-35, Mopac and 183, this toll road provides a convenient connection from east to west. SH-130 Toll Road: 130 lies east of Austin, running from south of the city all the way to Georgetown. This key artery provides North Austin residents convenient access to the airport as well as a clear path to San Antonio. Commuter Rail: The Capital Metro Commuter Rail line runs north from the heart of downtown Austin to Leander, providing residents a convenient way into and out of the city.

Round Rock, Georgetown and Leander Independent School Districts earn high marks in state and national assessments.acc system has three locations in the region, with campuses in North Austin, Round Rock and Cedar Park.
