After a very busy first year, teachers have told us they love the flexibility of the programme, the calm and friendly experienced team, the immersive handson approach that is rich with resources and the unique sense of place that cannot be replicated in a classroom. If you would rather explore alone with your group, there is plenty to see and do on site for a self-led visit with a range of prices and experiences. Or you can book a guided tour with the Friends of Lincoln Castle - or combine all of these for a tailor-made day to remember. 3 MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR VISIT Our Learning Centre has flexible bright spaces for all our different activities - drama, banquet re-enactment, crafts, real and replica object handling, archaeology mini digs, knight training, storytelling and more. There are schools-only facilities and coat and bag storage held in a secure area. TRAVEL THROUGH CASTLE TIME WHEELCHAIR ACCESS All the Learning spaces are accessible for wheelchair users. The East side of the Wall Walk is accessible via a lift. The Magna Carta vault and Victorian Prison are accessible on all floors. The prison chapel can be accessed via the lift from the Governor s viewing point. RISK ASSESSMENTS When you book, we will send you an Essential Visit Information guide which includes risk assessment guidelines. CASTLE SHOP The shop is well stocked with pocket-money priced items.
