Allen's Vulcan Inc. is partnering with the U.S. Department of Transportation to launch the Smart City Challenge, transforming transportation to enable America's most innovative, ambitious and forward thinking city to show the nation and the world a practical path to lowering and eventually replacing carbon based fuel consumption. The intent of this survey is to collect some general information for each applicant, so that Vulcan can best evaluate each city s ability to meet the vehicle electrification and greenhouse gas reduction objectives.
