1 The Accelerated Math scope and sequence is based on extensive mathematics and standards research and consultation from mathematics educators, mathematicians, and university researchers. You're sure to find objectives that reinforce the skills you are teaching, regardless of what instructional materials you use. Accelerated Math makes it easy to select and organize objectives to suit your textbook and your own teaching approach. This Accelerated Math library provides the following scope and sequence of objectives Topic 1 - Number and Operations in Base Ten: Operations Multi-digit Whole Numbers Multiply a 3-digit whole number by a 2-digit whole number Find the product of three identical factors Multiply three 1- and 2-digit whole numbers Multiply a 3- or 4-digit whole number by a 3-digit whole number a 2-digit whole number, with no remainder and no zeros in the quotient a 2-digit whole number, with a remainder and no zeros in the quotient a 2-digit whole number, with no remainder and at least one zero in the quotient a 2-digit whole number, with a remainder and at least one zero in the quotient a 2-digit whole number and express the quotient as a mixed number WP: Divide a whole number of up to 4- digits by a 2-digit whole number, with no remainder WP: Divide a whole number of up to 4- digits by a 2-digit whole number and interpret the remainder Topic 2 - Number and Operations in Base Ten: Decimals through thousandths when given its word form through thousandths when given its expanded form through thousandths represented in expanded form using powers of ten Determine the word form of a decimal number through thousandths Compare two decimal numbers through thousandths represented in expanded form Compare two decimal numbers through thousandths Round a decimal number to a specified place through hundredths hundredths using pictures hundredths using a place value chart hundredths Add three decimal numbers through hundredths using strategies based on properties of operations hundredths using pictures hundredths using a place value chart hundredths Relate multiplication of a decimal number through tenths by a whole number to a model Relate multiplication of a decimal number through tenths by a decimal number through tenths to a model hundredths by 10, 100, or 1,000 hundredths by a 1-digit whole number hundredths by a 2-digit whole number hundredths by a decimal number through tenths Page 1 of 5
