2 The Rotary Vane Principle Rotary vane vacuum pump working principle A rotor () positioned eccentrically in the pump cylindrical housing (), free moving vanes (4) are inserted into numerous rotor slots (3), when the rotor turns, the centrifugal force throws the vanes against the cylindrical wall, and creating chamber between the rotor and cylinder, as the rotor continues to turn, the chamber volume between blades keeps changing due to the rotor positioned eccentrically, from inlet (5) to outlet (6) port, the chamber volume will becomes bigger and then smaller, when chamber volume becomes bigger, vacuum produced result from the rotation of vanes, thus air enters the chamber from the inlet port, when the chamber volume becomes smaller, due to air compressed, pressure produced at the outlet port. vacuum pumps are manufactured in accordance to: EN 0- EN 0- / Compressors and Vacuum pumps EN ISO 00- EN ISO 00- EN 94 / Safety of machinery EN / Rotating electrical machines EN / Electrical equipment of machines EN EN EN EN / Electromagnetic Compatibility

Optional accessories -Air filter to the integral inlet filter when heavy dust loads are being pumped. -Vacuum limitation valve to control inlet pressure when pump is used on vacuum duties (only NV version) -Pressure relief valve to control outlet pressure when pump is used on pressure duties (only ND version) - Non-return valve to protect system against ingress of air opposite pressure, should pump stop for any reason. With pipelines exceeding 5 meters length, the installation of non-return valves are recommended. When the vacuum pump is switched off while under vacuum, gas may flow back into inlet pipe.
