Vaccaro, MD, PhD Co-Chairman Course Description MERC Complications Avoidance and Management is a case-based program focusing on prevention and correction of operative and post-operative complications. Case presentations will emphasize surgical techniques, pearls and pitfalls of complex cases. This highly collaborative and informative one-day program allows participants to exchange ideas and information with leading faculty on fundamentals of patient selection, surgical techniques and complication management. Case discussions will emphasize the following topics: Deformity Tumor and Trauma Infection MIS Techniques Target Audience Enrollment in this course is open to practicing orthopaedic and neurological spine surgeons. A variety of interactive learning techniques, including saw bones labs, case reviews, debates, lectures, panels and group discussions. GROUP LEARNING
