The Lake Sherwood Club is pleased to announce our membership drive for has begun! There have been so many great improvements to the facilities. Feel free to swim. No guest fees! Drawings for door prizes for those who bring a friend to see our improvements! We will also be showcasing some of the other summer programs and activities that will be offered. 2 POOL HOURS Open Weekends in May!! May Weekends: Sat. and Sun. 12:00--5:00 May 23 thru June: Mon. - Sat. 11-8:30; Sun. 1-8 July thru Aug.9: Mon. - Sat. 11-7:30; Sun. 1-7:30 Aug 15- Sept. 6: Sat. 11-7:30; Sun 1-6 Sept. 7 Labor Day 11:00-6:00 (LAST DAY) The pool will only be open on weekends after August 15 th thru September 7 th due to our lifeguards being back in school. July 4 th is also a shortened day due to families heading off before dark to see the fireworks. Watch your for details as we approach the pool opening. INVITE FRIENDS TO SWIM! Invite friends to spend the day with you at the pool. Guests Fees are only $3.00 per day, per guest and paid to the lifeguard on duty at the gate. LAKE SHERWOOD LAKERS SWIM TEAM A great way to improve and expand your children s swimming skills in a friendly, competitive atmosphere as well as keep them in shape all summer long. 3 CLUB HOUSE RENTALS We are booking fast for end of school parties so call early to get your desired date. Take advantage of the great club house facilities all year round! Use the clubhouse, pool and/or the grounds for graduations parties, birthday parties, weddings, swimming parties, meetings, office parties, crawfish boils, or family reunions. We love to have class or school parties! The possibilities are endless and our rates are the best in town! CHECK WITH JAN REGARDING FEES AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR USE OF POOL AND GROUNDS Contact Jan Chiles at or for reservations and more information. If you would like to have a private party in the pool area outside of regular pool hours, a certified lifeguard must be provided. LAKE SHERWOOD CLUBHOUSE RENTAL RATES Effective Janaury 1, 2015 MEMBER RATES: Up to 25 people $125 4 hours people $175 4 hours NON MEMBER RATES: Up to 100 people $300 4 hours ($30 for each additional hour) 2 extra hours are allowed for set up and clean up. SECURITY DEPOSIT - $100 This deposit will be returned if there is no damage to the club. The above fees include $50 cleaning costs (for clubhuse rental only) Any party over 100 people must be approved by the Board who will set the fee. Tell your friends to contact Jan for details! GAZEBO AND POOL PARTIES RESERVE ONE OF THE TWO POOLSIDE GAZEBOS The gazebos can be reserved at no charge to members of Lake Sherwood Club during regular pool hours. Plan your pool party and stay out of the sun. Guest fees of $3.00 per person will apply for any non member attending the party. Parties of over 15 swimmers do require an additional lifeguard fee of $15 per hour. Contact Pool Manager for reservations. They book up fast so make your reservations early!

4 Lake Sherwood Club Membership Includes Year Round Social Events! 2015 Scheduled Activities Easter Egg Hunt April 4th, AM Ages 2 12 & those children s families. All guests are asked to prestuff 2 dozen plastic eggs and bring to Lake La Belle Circle by 8 AM on that day. Teens are invited to come early (9:00am) to help hide the Easter eggs. Volunteers are invited to help set up decorations at 8 AM that day. Bring children at 10 AM with their own basket. Refreshments will be served. Children will find special eggs & get awards for the eggs they find. FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. LSC Open House- May 3 rd, 2-4 PM Poolside event to show club facilities to prospective new members. Free food& drink. Drawings for door prizes: 1) members who bring guests over age 21, and 2) guests. Information about membership, club activities, & facilities rental will be provided. Members & guests are welcome to swim. No guest fee. Pool Opening Party May 31, 2 4 PM Fun family event for all members at the pool. Free food. Music and DJ. Activities for children. Other Annual Events Dates TBA Pool Closing Party Mid-August (a weekend day) Family poolside event, just before pool closing for the summer. Food & children activities provided. Fall Fiesta usually in September Adult night event in clubhouse. Includes full Mexican themed dinner with frozen margaritas on the house! Trick or Treat Stop Over Halloween night during Trick or Treat hours. Drinks & refreshments provided for kids and parents. Activities in clubhouse for younger children. Backdrops for photo ops for families & older kids. Holiday Cookie Exchange In November or December. Ladies get together to share cookies to bring home. Care trays made for charity. Wine Tasting Social late winter, usually during Mardi Gras season Adults bring a bottle of wine to share. Taste wines & rate each. Prizes given for best & worst wines!
