6 IMAP Access Overview EV 11 IMAP Access provides access to archives via any IMAP client Outlook, Mac Mail, ios, Zimbra, Thunderbird, Blackberry, Android, etc Archives are presented to the user as a mailbox Folder structure reflects the folders in the archive Operations made by the client are reflected in the archive i.e. Copying, moving, deleting items or folders (where allowed) 6

25 Storage Safety Copies Storage Queue now managed using NTFS files rather than MSMQ The new Storage Queue keeps a copy of the item, so that you effectively have two copies during processing until the backup secures the item Provides better performance Mailboxes still have safety copies Safety copy changes to fully archived once Storage Queue processes item Space is then freed up in the mailbox Important for mailbox quota issues 25
