On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to invite you to participate in the 23rd The Polish Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists Congress which will take place at the Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biała Podlaska, Poland on 7-9 September The topic of the 23rd Congress: Bioeconomy in rural development and agribusiness The Congress is organized by the Faculty of Economic and Technology Sciences of Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biała Podlaska in a cooperation with Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation in Puławy. The honorary patronage over 23rd Congress of the PAAaAE in Biała Podlaska is taken by the Rector of the Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biała Podlaska Prof. zw. dr hab. Józef Bergier The planned programme of the Congress consists of one plenary session and six following thematic sessions:. 1. Theoretical of and methodological basics of bioeconomy 2. The family farms and agribusiness as subjects of bioeconomy 3. Bioeconomy and sustainable and innovative development of rural areas 4. Market, supply chains and network structures in biogospodarce 5. Bioeconomy, biotechnology, the low carbon economy and the environment and climate change 6. The English section The Congress registration options are as follows: Option Type of the room* Participation in the Congress without study visit 1. single double 1200 Full participation in the Congress (including country study visit) 3. single double 1350 Full participation in the Congress (including abroad study visit) 5. single double 1550 Participation in the Congress without publication (including country study visit) 7. single double 850 Participation in the Congress without publication (including abroad study visit) 9. single double 1000 Fee for one publication (without participation in the Congress) * Accommodation in double rooms concerns the Student dormitory and accommodation in the single rooms concerns the hotel (number of places in the hotel is limited - first come first served). You can make a reservation of the stay on 9/10 September 2016 for an additional fee of 50 PLN in a double room in the Student s dormitory. For an extra bed you will have to pay on the spot. There is no possibility of making payments for an additional night on PAAaAE s account. The comfortable, modern rooms in the Student s dormitory have got comfortable beds and a bathroom with a shower. All rooms have free Internet access, refrigerator, LCD TV and desk. Fees PLN

3 Accommodation in the Student s dormitory on will be possible from 16:00 and check-out must take place by 12:00. If you wish to book extra nights (also for accompanying persons), please contact us by or phone the organizers. Within options: 1-6 participants will receive digital version of the Congress materials and one printed copy of the PAAiAE Annals, in which author s article was published. Within options: 7,8,9 and 10 participants will receive digital version of the Congress materials. Option 11 entitles to receive materials in which author s article was published (it will be sent by post after the Congress). The participation cost covers papers not longer than 8 pages prepared according to the editor requirements ( Additional payment will be required if the paper is longer: 50 PLN for the ninth (9th) page and 200 PLN for each following (additional fee does not apply to commissioned papers). Paying the Congress registration fee is equivalent to accession to the Polish Association of Agricultural and Agribusiness Economists as a member. New participants are asked to fill in a membership declaration (form available at: ). Annals of the PAAaAE (No. ISSN ) is indexed in the list "B" of scientific journals announced by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (dated 12/17/2013) with 10 points. According to the PAAaAE Board the papers with the statement of originality (requirements for paper preparation and statement form are published on Website should be sent directly to Scientific Annals Editor - in electronic form to address: biurowj@op.pl. After a proper submission of the article you will get a return confirming the receipt of the paper for review. In case of not receiving any confirmation of submission please send the paper to address: wiesjutra@poczta.onet.pl or by post (CD disc and printed version) to the address: Wydawnictwo Wieś Jutra Bruzdowa 112F Warszawa tel The following dates for submission of articles and the Congress payment are proposed: Book No. 1 of the PAAaAE Annals - period expires on Book No. 2 of the PAAaAE Annals - period expires on Book No. 3 of the PAAaAE Annals - period expires on Book No. 4 and 5 of the PAAaAE Annals - period expires on Book No. 6 of the PAAaAE Annals - period expires on Attention!!! 1. In the Book of the PAAiAE it is allowed to publish only one paper by one author/co-author. 2. Papers will not be published if the Congress participation fee is not received (regardless of choosing options). 3. 4 Organizers are planning the following study visits on 9th September 2016*: Study visit 1-Brest and Brest Area in Belarus. Rural areas and agriculture, cultural objects (full day trip) Study visit 2 - Bioeconomy, Agrotourism, Rural development. Partnership in Zielawa Valley, Land of Herbs, Land of Chamomile, Clean Energy. Communes: Wisznice, Rossosz, Sosnówka. (Departure from Biała Podlaska at 8:00 a. m and return to Biała Podlaska approx. at 17:30 p. m) Study visit 3 - Agribusiness, agriculture and agrotourism. Horticulture Plant. The biogas plant (Międzyrzec), Uroczysko Zaborek, Horse Stud in Janów Podlaski, Manor - Palace Complex in Roskosz. Departure from the Biała Podlaska at. 8:00 a.m and return approx. at. 17:30 p. m. We kindly request to mark on registration form which route you would like to choose. * In case of little interest in any of the above mentioned excursions The Organising Committee reserves the right to make changes, after consultation with participant ** persons interested Study visit 1 must have a passport valid until February 2017, at a later date will be given information about how to obtain a visa. The Congress of the PAAaAE cancellation policy: 1. For reimbursement of the fee or costs of unpublished article should be requested in writing to the address: sekretariat@seria.home.pl 2. The cancellation of participation in the Congress should be reported to the address: sekretariat@seria.home.pl and to the Congress Organising Committee (seria.koszalin@gmail.com) not later than June 30th After this date payment will not be returned. 3. In case of cancellation of participation in the Congress before the deadline described in the point 1 and not submitting paper for publication in the established deadline the handling fee 100 PLN will be deducted. 4. In case of cancellation of participation in the Congress before the deadline described in point 1 and negative review of the paper the handling fee 200 PLN will be deducted. 5. In case of change of option of participation in the Congress before the deadline described in point 1 the handling fee is not deducted (does not apply to changes from option 1 to 10 to option 11). 6. In case of change of the registered participant the handling fee is not deducted and the deadline described in point 1 is not binding. These changes should be reported to the Organising Committee no later than seven days before the Congress starts.
