Front of House Management This is the beginning course for students wishing to be a part of the theatre design and management pathway. Students learn about the skills needed in the production of a theatre piece. Learn how to stock and manage concessions for productions Students get hands-on training with Programming Lighting Boards, programming Sound Boards, Building Sets, Building Costumes. Additionally, They demonstrate learned skills in stage managing and calling a show. Students also deal with ticketing, publicity and managing concessions for and during productions. Students learn to design and program the sound for a production utilizing wireless body packs, overheard choral microphones and a live orchestra in the pit 3. Students learn to design and build and find existing costumes for a production 4. Students learn to design and build a set for a production 5. Students manage ticketing, publicity (with all needed artwork), and concessions for a production Students choose one of the areas of study and focus on designing and building for a production.
