1 Neuropsychology & Family Services Supervisor-MSW Social Work FT Family Services JOB OVERVIEW: Under general supervision of Department Director, supervises BSW level social workers in their clinical duties, ensure social work services are delivered to RIKC patients and families consistent with ethical state licensure guidelines. Orientation of patients and their family for program services and serves as scheduling liaison between patients and their family. Delivers case management services including payor sources with patient progress documentation, identifying and referring patient and family to appropriate community resources. Delivery of social work services including individual, family, or group counseling to RIKC patients, participate in developing and implementing social work services of RIKC pediatric and adult programs, and performs other duties as directed. EDUCATION: Master s Degree, Social Work, Licensed LMSW in Missouri. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one year clinical experience, including direct counseling services, required and two years experience in supervision or management in rehabilitation or mental health setting preferred. Required skills/certification includes A.C.S.W. in Missouri, knowledge of community resources in transportation, housing and finances for adults and children. Knowledgeable in family dynamics and issues related to adjustment to disability. Strong organizational skills required. Neuropsychologist FT Neuropsychology JOB OVERVIEW: Under direct supervision of Director, neuropsychologist will participate in neuropsychology services with a focus in pediatric services including neuropsychological evaluation, consultation, and patient staffing team meetings, individual and family therapy, group therapy, and program meetings. EDUCATION: Ph.D., or Psy.D. APA approved program in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or allied field. Individuals who have completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology preferred. EXPERIENCE: Training program curriculum and internship reflect experience in rehabilitation setting and activities. Finance Staff Accountant FT Finance JOB OVERVIEW: Under general direction of CFO, assist the CFO with many accounting functions of The Institute. Primary responsibilities include: daily processing of accounts payable, distribution of reports, daily sorting of cash receipts and reconciliation of cash postings. Duties include preparation of monthly journal entries, monthly preparation of reports to various agencies, reconciliation of bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts, analysis of various general ledger activity including fixed assets, prepaid assets, other receivables, restricted funds, and other accounts as assigned. Position will also assist in the preparation of the annual operating, capital, and FTE budgets of the Institute. EDUCATION: Four-year college degree in a business related field, preferably accounting, from an accredited university. EXPERIENCE: Six months to one year preferred but not required. Previous experience with personal computers is preferred.
2 Medical Rehabilitation and Educational Services Office Coordinator FT Children s TLC JOB OVERVIEW: Serves as the primary point of contact for families of children served in preschool and for therapy. Serves as the primary receptionist for the agency. Works with billing and agency coordinator to ensure that billing and other data is current and accurate. Provides general clerical support for the staff. Maintains Head Start and Early Head Start records. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: BA/BS in business, finance, marketing or related field preferred. Will consider background and experience as a substitute for a college degree. EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced human service office environment with increasing responsibilities preferred. Computer skills with demonstrated ability to understand and operate within database systems as well as Microsoft Office products. Demonstrated customer service experience in an environment with a highly diverse population. Occupational Therapist PRN Children s TLC JOB OVERVIEW: The Occupational Therapist at Children's TLC is a specialist who assists children to reach an optimal level of functioning in the home, school, and in the community. Play, which is highly motivational and natural, is most often used by occupational therapists during their treatment with the children. Therapy focuses on daily living activities including self-care, assistive devices as well as a strong emphasis on feeding and oral motor skills. EDUCATION: Bachelor s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school. Appropriate State license required. EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience with evidence of success in the evaluation and treatment of young children with disabilities or developmental delays preferred. Proficiency in working with early intervention, early childhood and school age populations. Experience providing aquatic therapy and feeding intervention (preferred). Occupational Therapist PRN Adult Medical Rehabilitation JOB OVERVIEW: Under general direction of the Supervisor, performs patient care related tasks and functional supervision of support staff. EDUCATION: Bachelor s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school. Appropriate State license or license eligible, flexibility, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required. CPR certification or eligible. Word processing experience preferred. EXPERIENCE: No experience required. Prior hospital or neuro-rehab experience preferred.

Nursing care is provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts and ANA standards of Practice. EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. EXPERIENCE: One year nursing experience required. Prior hospital or neuro-rehab experience preferred. One year of pediatric experience preferred if providing service to individuals birth to 13. Early Childhood Special Education Teacher FT & PRN Children s TLC JOB OVERVIEW: Establish a positive, pleasant and safe learning environment for all children where learning is stimulating and appropriate for the children s abilities. This nurturing environment promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children and responds to the needs of the families. Provide a developmental experiential approach within the classroom that accommodates children with special needs and follows appropriate practices for early childhood education. Function as a member of an inter/transdisciplinary team. Assists in activities related to the operation of the shop such as shipping and receiving, warehousing, maintenance, etc. Provides instruction in and promotion of safety awareness and safe work habits. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two years full-time work experience. Three years experience working with persons with disabilities, or bachelor s degree preferred. Program Case Manager FT Satellite Workshop JOB OVERVIEW: Under the direct supervision of Facility Manager and in coordination with the Lead Program Manager, provides counseling, case management and follow-up to participants in the Industries Program (extended employment workshop). Assists person served to develop and implement a mutually agreed upon plan which will maximize their earnings and aid their progress towards obtaining job skill training or competitive employment. Prepares written documentation of service delivery as required by the Institute. Works in a cooperative effort with production staff to deliver needed services to persons served. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation, Psychology, Special Education or closely related field. EXPERIENCE: None Required Regional Business Development Specialist FT Satellite Workshop JOB OVERVIEW: Under direction of supervisor, solicits bids and procures sub-contract work for consumers employed by R.I. Industries. Develops and maintains productive relationships with businesses and organizations that enhance attainment of program goals and objectives. Works in conjunction with Facility Managers(s) and other staff to coordinate efficient production operations. At direction of management, assists with follow-up of past due accounts. Performs other program-related duties deemed necessary by supervisor. EDUCATION: Associate's degree with specialization in business, sales or marketing. Bachelor s degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of four years experience in business, sales, or marketing. Or with a bachelor's degree, two years related experience. Employment Services Program Coordinator Deaf & Hard of Hearing FT Employment Services JOB OVERVIEW: Under general direction of the Employment Services Branch Manager and/or Director of Employment Program Operations coordinates all vocational assessment services needed to assist program participants in developing a career plan including use of Discovery processes, standardized measures, exploration and situational assessment activities. Provides team members and persons served with employment and/or training recommendations. Will coordinate with admissions department in accepting new participants into the program. Provide job placement services and post-placement support. Assist with developing and providing group activities. Provide individual vocational counseling support EDUCATION: A high-school diploma is required, but a Bachelor s and/or Master s degree in rehabilitation, psychology, social work or a related field is preferred. Seven years of documented experience working with Hearing Impaired individuals may substitute for the Bachelor Degree. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of seven years of related experience in working with Individuals with hearing loss and/or impairment is required. A minimum of five years of American Sign Language usage is required and Level 3 certification is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of four years of successful work experience is required, preferably in a human service setting. A bachelor s degree in a relevant area of study may be substituted for experience requirements.
