Implement goals, objectives and plans to support UMMS mission and strategic plan. Improve care and services, meet regulatory and customer requirements along with the UMMS and affiliate hospital senior management, medical staff and clinical areas identify areas. Current engagement is at Dimensions Health System to include a freestanding emergency department and ambulatory surgical center in Bowie Maryland, The Prince George s Hospital Center in Cheverly Maryland and Laurel Regional Hospital. DIRECTOR, QUALITY MANAGEMENT, INFECTION PREVENTION & REHABILITATION SERVICES DEPARTMENTS UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND MEDICAL CENTER MIDTOWN CAMPUS DUTIES: Quality Management: Responsible for gathering accurate hospital wide and department specific performance metrics and coordinating/facilitating performance improvement projects as needed. Performance improvement projects include, but not limited to, Core Measure compliance, decreasing the frequency of hospital acquired conditions and all cause 30 day hospital readmissions. Responsibilities also include tracking and trending efficiency, effectiveness, patient safety and satisfaction for nursing, medicine and ancillary services performance; adverse event management and reporting, infection prevention and strategic planning associated with the Maryland Pay for Performance measures. Coordinate the Medical Staff Quality Committee, hospital wide medical peer review, Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE) and Focused Professional Practice Evaluations (FPPE). Rehabilitation Services: Direct inpatient rehabilitation service lines to include acute consult service for medical/surgical, critical care and post acute services. Duties also include oversight of the outpatient adult and pediatric rehabilitation programs. Rehabilitation Services include physical, occupational and speech therapy. 7/06 7/11 ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR, REHABILITATION SERVICES UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND MEDICAL CENTER MIDTOWN CAMPUS DUTIES: Responsibilities included directing inpatient, outpatient and acute rehabilitation services for the hospital. Was responsible for the overall operation of a 25-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with general rehabilitation and specialized brain injury beds. Ensure program adherence to Maryland State, JCAHO, and CARF standards and regulations. Supervised interdisciplinary services to include nursing, medicine, social work, psychology, and physical, occupational, recreational and speech therapies. Coordinated performance improvement activities, contracts, service excellence, and patient satisfaction activities. The hospital merged the acute inpatient rehabilitation beds with a sister hospital within the University of Maryland Medical system as of 7/11. 5/08 12/09 ACTING DIRECTOR OF NURSING SUPPORT SERVICES Maryland General Hospital DUTIES: Was responsible for supervision and direction of Nursing Supervisors who oversee the hospital operations and clinical care during evenings, weekends and holidays. Was

2 Page 2 responsible for the oversight of the staffing coordinators, registry nurses and agency/traveling nurses for the hospital. 9/05 7/06 DIRECTOR, PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT Johns Hopkins Bayview Care Center DUTIES: Responsibilities included managing the operations of the inpatient rehabilitation unit, medical records, social work/case management and patient relations department staff. Responsibilities also included continuous survey readiness for CARF, JCAHO and annual/performance improvement state surveys for a 255-bed post acute care facility. Also coordinated performance improvement projects, established and maintained contracts, and chaired the facility service excellence committee.

Was responsible for Maryland State, JCAHO, and CARF continuous survey readiness. Monitor and coordinate interdisciplinary services to include nursing, medicine, social work, psychology, clinical nutrition and physical, occupational, recreational and speech therapies. Supervised case manager, social worker and therapeutic recreation specialist. Duties also include outcomes management, strategic planning, program improvement, and marketing of the 220 bed continuing care facility. 1/96-11/96 REHABILITATION CASE MANAGER/MARKETING COORDINATOR First Rehabilitation Resources, Inc., Laurel, Maryland DUTIES: Provided community based case management services to individuals with varying disabilities. Developed a referral base to increase the number of consumers served with acquired brain injury. Trained professional staff to provide medical, psychological, behavioral and cognitive case management for individuals with acquired brain injury DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES GROUP, COLUMBIA, MARYLAND Positions listed for this time period reflect concurrent positions and/or promotions /95 DIRECTOR, NEUROBEHAVIORAL PROGRAM DUTIES: Wrote grant proposals and was awarded public funding for the creation and maintenance of a program designed to meet the needs of individuals with severe behavioral deficits caused by an acquired brain injury. Conducted program supervision, staff training, budget management and marketing activities. Oversaw and coordinated consultant activity including neuropsychologist, substance abuse counselor, physical, occupational and speech therapists. Developed and managed departmental budget /95 DIRECTOR, BRAIN INJURY SERVICES DUTIES: Was responsible for the overall operation of the community based brain injury rehabilitation program. Trained and supervised rehabilitation therapists, case managers and vocational staff. Coordinated consultant activity; marketing; and provision of individual cognitive rehabilitation and/or psychotherapy as needed. Developed and managed departmental budget /95 DIRECTOR, STUDENTS TO EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (STEP) DUTIES: Managed a program that provided supported employment to special education students with developmental disabilities who were preparing to exit the public school system.
