The Competition shall be played under the Laws of the Sport of Bowls and in accordance with Bowls England Championship Rules. 4. One Cheque per club made payable to BOWLS LEICS LADIES SECTION (See Front Summary Sheet) 1. The Competition shall be open to all CLUBS affiliated to Bowls Leicestershire Ladies. 2. Clubs may enter more than one side. No player shall play in more than one of those sides entered. All players must be members of one and the same club. 3. At the date of entry, Competitors must be UNBADGED at September 30th 2016 (ie no LLCBA or BOWLS LEICESTERSHIRE Blazer Badge Awarded to them). 4. The Competition shall be played under the Laws of the Sport of Bowls. 5. Set Dates Prelim Play BY Sunday 11th June Round 1 Play BY Sunday 25th June Quarter-Final Play BY Saturday 8th July Semi-Final Play BY Sunday 23rd July FINAL ON Sunday 30th July 2017 pm Venue as CofC Day 2 6. Format shall be 2 Rinks of 4 players, playing 21 ends, 2 bowls each player. 7. The challenger shall have the choice of green and will make all match arrangements up to and including the Semi-Final stage. Matches must be played on approved greens. Challenger to offer three dates one of which must be a Saturday or Sunday. No club shall be forced to play before 6pm Monday Friday. Failure to field 8 players will result in a walk-over. 8. Before commencing the match, the nominated managers or captains will toss a coin to decide the choice of jack for the first and extra end (if required) and nominate the rink to play the extra end. The total number of shots on both rinks will determine the winner. In the event of a tie after 21 ends then an extra end will be played by the nominated rink to determine the overall winner. 9. The winners of the match must advise Hon Comp Secretary immediately after each match and send in ALL FOUR score cards signed by skips. 10.
