1 13-Day Baltic Sea Cruise Tour Sept , 2017 Tentative Itinerary Baltic Sea Cruise Tour Saturday, Sept. 16 Day #1 Home Overnight flight to Copenhagen, Denmark All passengers will meet their Tour Manager and join fellow travelers at Toronto airport for their group to Copenhagen (same flight). Passengers traveling from different cities will have their flight to Toronto included (inquire with Collins Tours staff to find nearest available airport). All passengers are flying on Air Canada flights. PLEASE NOTE: ALL PASSENGERS ARE REQUIRED to pay the airline any fees associated with checking a bag, as this is is not included in the tour price. Your luggage payment is paid directly to the airline. Fees will be charged on both the outbound and return flights. Be sure to have your *valid passport for Customs & Immigration. For all flights, be aware of rules concerning traveling with any liquids or gels with most security. Don t pack prescription medication in your checked baggage. With more than ever happening on-board the cruise ship, please review the Norwegian Getaway tabs for more details about state rooms, deck plans, and what s available on-board. Sunday, Sept. 17 Day #2 Copenhagen, Denmark Arrive Copenhagen airport. After clearing customs, we proceed to the baggage carousel to collect our luggage. Porterage and baggage handling from the airport to the hotel is include. Arrive mid afternoon at Hotel SKT. Annae (formerly Hotel Neptun), located within walking distance of the popular Nyhavn district, with its many small restaurants overlooking the Harbour. Enjoy easy access to world-famous museums and other popular attractions, such as Amalienborg Palace, the Royal Danish Theatre, the shopping street Strøget and The Little Mermaid statue. Note: Check in is not guaranteed until 3:00 p.m. Early check in has been requested. The rest of your afternoon is free to enjoy your way. Join us for a welcome reception at hotel at 4:30pm for 1 hour for a brief orientation and to get to know fellow group members Dinner today is on your own. Time to relax or explore the canals, cobblestones, and cafés of Copenhagen, Denmark s cosmopolitan capital (on own).

2 Monday, Sept. 18 Day #3 Copenhagen, Denmark (B,D) A Scandinavian buffet beakfast with Danish specialties is included this morning. Everyone should be well-rested and ready to meet your tour manager at 10:00 a.m. for a 3- hour professionally guided sightseeing tour of Copenhagen (included). Visit the city s most popular landmarks, including the bronze Little Mermaid statue off Langelinie promenade, Amalienborg Palace (built in the 1700 s), and spend time in Copenhagen s largest shopping area, Strøget. After the tour has ended you will be transferred back to the hotel. Perhaps you could enjoy lunch in one of the many cafés or restaurants on the harbourfront (on own) and spend the afternoon shopping and sightseeing. Meet back in the hotel lobby at 5:30pm to meet your tour manager and be transferred to a nearby restaurant to sample some delectable local cuisine (included). Enjoy new company and a fine meal as we toast to the beginning of a fantastic voyage. Tuesday, Sept. 19 Day #4 Copenhagen, EMBARK 10-Day cruise aboard Norwegian Getaway (B, L, D) A hearty buffet beakfast with Danish specialties is included again this morning. Enjoy your last few hours in Copenhagen. Please check out of your room this morning by 10:30 a.m. and be ready to meet your tour manager in the hotel lobby at 10:45 a.m. for your transfer to the pier. All aboard the Norwegian Getaway for your 10-day Baltic Sea Cruise (Transfer and bag handling fees are included). Note: Your Collins Tours team has completed the check in process for you! Wednesday, Sept. 20 Day #5 Berlin (Warnemunde), Germany (B, L, D) The ship is scheduled to dock in Warnemunde at 7:30 a.m. Warnemunde is a German port town on the Baltic Sea. It is known for its long beachfront and marina. Enjoy Wanrmunde and area or venture into the eclectic metropolitan of Berlin, which is approximately 2 hours 45 minutes from the cruise terminal. Join an exclusive Collins Tours 5-Hour Private Excursion (Optional & Cost TBA) Berlin was the old capital of Prussia, and is now the capital of Germany. Berlin is known for its many museums (e.g. housing the bust of Nofretete-Nefertiti of Egypt from about 1370 BC, and a city gate from Mesopotamia, and other ancient art works), famous architectural buildings 2

3 (like the Brandenburger Tor - Gate) surprising, decorated bars, the opera house, theaters and the Kuhdamm (cow dam), the famous shopping street. The ship sails at 10:00 p.m. Be sure to be back on board at least 2 hours before departure. You are then free to enjoy the ship s scheduled entertainment, as we sail from Germany to Estonia! Thursday, Sept Day #6 At Sea (B, L, D) Enjoy a full day at sea, relaxing at the pool and indulging in all the fabulous food and entertainment offered aboard the Getaway! Perhaps it s a good day to gather with new friends at the ship s Irish/American pub & grill O Sheehan s. For a tranquil, relaxing option, consider booking an appointment in the Mandara Spa. Tonight we will gather for a complimentary cocktail party, followed by a group dinner, to get to know each other a little better and share our experiences so far (included). Time and location TBA. Friday, Sept Day #7 Tallinn, Estonia (B, L, D) The Getaway is scheduled to be in port today from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tallinn, Estonia s capital on the Baltic Sea, is the country s cultural hub. It retains its walled, cobblestoned Old Town, brimming with cafes and shops, as well as Kiek in de Kök, a 15th-century defensive tower. Its Gothic Town Hall, built in the 13th century and with a 64m-high tower, sits in historic Tallinn s main square. St. Nicholas Church is a 13th-century landmark exhibiting ecclesiastical art. Join an excursion today or tour Estonia s capital on your own. Just be sure to be back aboard the Getaway by 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept Day #8 St.Petersburg, Russia (B, L, D) We are schedule to dock in St.Petersburg, Russia at 8:00 a.m. for our overnight stay in this beautiful and historical city. Get set for today's highlight: A half-day guided tour of St Petersburg s most notable places with time to enjoy some local cuisine. Included in your tour package for a limited time (valued at $140 per person). St. Petersburg is a Russian port city on the Baltic Sea. It was the imperial capital for 2 centuries. Founded in 1703 by Peter the Great, the city's boasts his iconic Bronze Horseman statue. It remains Russia's cultural center, with venues like the ultramodern Mariinsky Theatre hosting opera and ballet, and the State Russian Museum showcasing Russian art, from Orthodox icon paintings to Kandinsky works. 3

4 Sunday, Sept Day #9 St.Petersburg, Russia (B, L, D) Wake up in St.Petersburg, the Russian city of almost 5 million. Enjoy views of this amazing cosmopolitan over a delicious breakfast, then discover the amazing sights and attractions offered only in St.Petersburg. Perhaps take time to visit art museums, beautiful gardens, local parks and sample some local food. Be sure to board the Getaway for 5:00 p.m. as we bid farewell to Russia and set sail for Finland at 7:00 p.m. Monday, Sept Day #10 Helsinki, Finland (B, L, D) We are set to arrive in the beautiful city of Helsinki, Finland s southern capital, at 7:00 a.m. this morning. Situated on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland, Helsinki is a liberal city with fantastic art museums and trendy cafés. Its central avenue, Mannerheimintie, is flanked by institutions including the National Museum, tracing Finnish history from the Stone Age to the present. Also on Mannerheimintie are the imposing Parliament House and Kiasma, a contemporary art museum. Spend the day enjoying this incredible Finnish locale, but make certain to be back onboard for 2:00 p.m. as the Getaway departs at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept Day #11 Stockholm, Sweden (B, L, D) Spend the early morning sailing through the Stockholm archipelago, Sweden s largest archipelago, and the second largest in the Baltic Sea. At 8:00 a.m., the Getaway is scheduled to dock in Stockholm, Sweden s capital city. Today enjoy another optional private Collins Tours exclusive shore excursion for 4.5 hours (Cost TBA). 14 islands make up the city and there are more than 50 bridges connecting this extensive Baltic Sea archipelago. The cobblestone streets and ochre-colored buildings of Gamla Stan (the old town) are home to the 13th-century Storkyrkan Cathedral, the Kungliga Slottet Royal Palace and the Nobel Museum, which focuses on the Nobel Prize. Ferries and sightseeing boats shuttle passengers between the islands. The ship is underway again at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27- Day #12 At Sea (B, L, D) Enjoy another day at sea as we make our way back to Copenhagen, Denmark. Refer to the ship s itinerary for exciting onboard activities. This evening we will meet together to enjoy a delicious group dinner on board the Getaway at 5:30 p.m. Exact location of restaurant to be announced by your tour manager. 4

Thursday, Sept. 28- Day #13 At Disembark Copenghagen, Denmark / Home (B) The ship is scheduled to dock at 7:00 a.m. We will meet as a group at 9:00 a.m. (location TBA) to complete the disembarkation process (location TBA) After we are cleared to disembark, we will board our coach for our transfer to the Copenhagen International Airport. Lunch today is on your own (your expense). Return flight information will be included once all flight details are in place. Airfare cost is included in tour price. Airline fees for checked bags are additional and are your expense. Baggage allowance details: For all Air Canada flights to and from Europe: You are allowed one personal and one carry on item at no charge (max dimension 23 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm). You are also allowed one free checked bag (max weight 23 kg; $100 fee for overweight bag). Second checked bag is $100 CAD each way. Currency varies among the countries visited during this tour. Duty Free Rules allow you to claim $800 per person when you have travelled outside Canada for at least 48 hours. Airline fees for any checked baggage (both outbound and inbound flights) are NOT included in your tour package and any additional costs are your responsibility. All liquids and gels that you are planning to bring on board an airplane must be 3oz or less and sealed in a Ziploc bag. Once at the security checkpoint, this bag must be removed from your carryon and placed in a bin for TSA screening.
