It became a major trading port of the merchants of the Hanseatic League, who dominated European trade during the Middle Ages. 4 Continue with a ride on the Fløibanen funicular up the side of Mount Floyen. Enjoy spectacular views over Bergen before returning to the city center. The balance of the day is at leisure. Begin with a visit to City Hall, and then continue towards Aker brygge where you visit the Nobel Peace Center. At the pier in front of the Nobel Peace Center, you are met by the rigid-inflatable boat (RIB) captain for a few hours of fun at the fjord! Enjoy a RIB safari in the Oslo Archipelago. Following your RIB excursion, you return to the pier and return to your hotel. You may choose to return on foot (10 minutes) or return to your hotel by private vehicle.
