12 Landstar Transportation Protective Services (TPS) - Driver Qualifications U.S. Government Security Clearance Defense Security Clearance (DSS - Facility Code 2AA29) FBI / Criminal background check cleared Transportation Worker ID Credential (TWIC) issuance Team drivers only Must be approved by Landstar s Safety and Compliance Department Must be Landstar-qualified Business Capacity Owner (BCO) for six months or come from an ammunitions and HazMat carrier with verifiable experience Minimum Age 25 Required / Minimum Two Years Driving Experience Qualification CDL Drivers License requirement with H endorsement for both drivers Attend regularly-scheduled Landstar Orientation Classes on AA&E/HazMat Must have a satellite-equipped tractor (Qualcomm / Omnitracs) Trailer tracking device (SkyBitz) for security purposes 12
