2 Highlight Gunung Sewu area in the Southern Mountain of Java is located between Yogyakarta and Pacitan Regencies. Thousands of limestone hills spread all over the area of 1,802 km 2. It is still unknown when the name Gunung Sewu started to be used. Ethimologically, Gunung means hill and Sewu means thousand (Javanese language). So Gunung Sewu means a thousand hills, although it is composed by more than 40,000 conical hills Uhlig (1982). The name of the proposed Geopark is Gunung Sewu National Geopark, Java. Based on the recommendation from GGN- UNESCO on 21 October 2011 the National Geopark should include the more internationally significant karst area to the west, reflecting the international significance of the geological heritage. Itinerary 5 Days 4 Nights Trekking, Water Sport, and Caving IDR 5,800,000 /person - $ 430 / person For Min 6 person Itinerary DAY 1 JAKARTA YOGYAKARTA - GUNUNGKIDUL Starting your journey with fly in early morning to Yogyakarta, then our team provide the vehicle from Yogyakart to Gunungkidul about 1,5 hour drive. You continue to caving in Jomblang Cave then tubing in Kalisuci. You will stay overnight in Jomblang Resort, at the night we have some explanation about Gunung Sewu Geopark. Geotour

3 DAY 2 GUNUNGKIDUL WONOGIRI PACITAN (OVERLAND) Start your day in the early morning after breakfast, ready for Overland Gunung Sewu Area going to Wonogiri Geo- Area about 3 hours drive then you ll visit Karst Museum. After that continue drive to Pacitan Geo- Area about 3 hours drive. You will stay overnight at Pacitan. DAY 3 PANTAI KLAYAR GOA GONG PACITAN BAY - WONOGIRI After breakfast, continue journey to Klayar Beach to see the Oceanic Flute phenomenon, then continue to Goa Gong the most beautiful cave in ASEAN and visit to Pacitan Bay, you can see how tectonic works in Gunung Sewu right here. After that we going back to Wonogiri. You ll stay overnight in Hotel at Wonogiri. DAY 4 WONOGIRI TRADITIONAL GOLD MINING YOGYAKARTA Start in early morning to see the traditional gold mining in Wonogiri, then going back to Yogyakarta. Visit Candi Ratu Boko at the afternoon to see sunset. You ll stay overnight at Yogyakarta. DAY 5 YOGYAKARTA - JAKARTA After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day shopping at Malioboro (traditional market). Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight back to next destination.
