Thursday, September 3, 2015 New Boarding Students Arrive New day and boarding students must take the Math placement test unless their previous school s math course clearly indicates the level at Montverde Academy. For example, students who took Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, or Pre-Calculus at their previous school do not need to take the Math placement test; students who took a Math course that does not clearly match the courses offered at Montverde must take the placement test. Students must take this test only once, and they should take it as soon as possible after arriving on campus. New day and boarding students must take the SLATE test if English is not their first language.
