Students must purchase the required uniform from the Academy prior to the first day of class. The Culinary Arts Certificate consists of 27 units of coursework that can be completed in one year in three consecutive 15-week terms. Each successive course builds upon skills that have been developed in the previous course. Academy classes are conducted Monday through Friday (8:00am-2:00pm) for five hours each day except Mondays when classes end at 12:30pm. Students are expected to dedicate themselves to its 45 weeks of intensive training. Students are required to stand for long periods of time and must be able to lift 50 lbs. 4
