Our stores across London s dynamic neighbourhoods of Shoreditch, Covent Garden and Soho offer unique grooming services, classic grooming products and artisan accessories. Firmly establishing us as a primary destination for the capital s stylish gentlemen. Established in 2006 by Brendan Murdock, our collections of fragrance, skincare and accessories have been developed to equip the modern gentleman with everything he needs, in town or country. Our signature collections, like our grooming services, combine traditional English sensibilities with modern discernment. Focusing on hand crafted and British made goods, Murdock products are renowned for exquisite workmanship and commitment to quality.

4 cologne collection We have always wanted the Murdock colognes to capture in a bottle a certain kind of British, masculine sensibility. Our core collection of six scents represents the different facets of a gentleman s character. Each cologne is distinct with its own suggestive personality whilst at the same time sharing the common Murdock convictions of quality, confidence and style. Inspired by beautiful locations from across the world, Brendan Murdock and his team of globe trotting perfumers have carefully sourced natural, raw ingredients to create our collection of colognes. Black Tea evokes the wanderlust traveller, Bright Leaf the glamorous maverick, Vetiver the rugged adventurer, Patchouli the British bohemian, Fougère the enigmatic artist and Avalon the louche Dandy. Brendan and the perfumers are busy creating new scents and the latest is a collection of three colognes that celebrate the great British sporting traditions of old.

5 ShavIng collection Murdock is dedicated to the barbershop experience and we have been acclaimed in London for the revival of the traditional wet shave. With that in mind, our shave collection has been developed in collaboration with our savvy London barbers. Their expert advice has helped create high quality, elegantly fashioned products and tools that combine classic design with the practicality of contemporary performance. The shaving collection began with three core products essential to the traditional shave, shaving oil, luxury shaving cream and post-shave balm. This collection is complemented with other shaving and beard products such as our beard moisturiser, moustache wax, shaving soap and traditional shaving tools. We have carefully chosen raw ingredients such as Sweet Almond, Strawberry Seed, Thyme, Wheat Germ, Bergamot and Chamomile, that sooth nourish and replenish the skin. All of the shaving products are hand made in Suffolk, England and are scented the citrus-based oils of our classic Avalon Cologne are key to its lovely, fresh fragrance.

6 SkIncare collection If home is where the heart is, for us, it s also where the good grooming is. We took inspiration for our Skincare from the British Isles the cities, seaside and countryside, even the weather. Across the range we ve included simple, clinically effective English garden herbs like mint, thyme and rosemary, combining these with evocative, quintessentially British ingredients. And as well as being inspired by, it s developed and produced in Britain for gentlemen all over the world. 187

7 our StoreS Established in 2006, Murdock London has now grown to several stores, providing grooming services for London s stylish gentlemen. Brendan chose to locate our stores in his favourite parts of the capital, from the artist district of Shoreditch, to the iconic department store Liberty and the historic Seven Dials district of Covent Garden. 9 BLACK TEA A subtle, masculine blend of spices and leather, Black Tea takes its cue from the exotic spice and tea routes of the British global traveller. With top notes of Clove from Madagascar, Nutmeg from Ceylon, Basil from Egypt and Pepper from Paraguay, Black Tea is truly a world of spices brought together in one smooth and deeply satisfying brew. With middle notes including Leather and base notes of Musty Woods, Musk and Birchtar, Black Tea is a complex scent that manages to be sensuous and evocative without ever overpowering the nose. AVALON Avalon is a classic, elegant citrus-based scent, excellent for all the year round. It is clean and modern, complex and suggestive, with just a touch of the English dandy about it. Murdock s signature eau de cologne began with a single image in mind a sharply tailored-man man leaning on a palm-shaded terrace at the Hotel du Cap, drinking a sloe gin cocktail, listening to the jazz classic Avalon, circa Those were heady days on the French Riviera and we ve captured that playful sophistication with top notes of Sicilian Bergamot and Calabrian Lemon, middle notes including Neroli, Rosemary and Lavender from Haute Provence, and a base of musk. We became so keen on the Mediterranean freshness of Avalon that we ve used it in our shaving cream as well. 190 FEATURES MURDOCK
