2 After view Those of you who read the preface in the auction cata logue might remember that we finished with we cannot promise you that the spring has arrived when we meet in Malmö, but now we know that it did. On the first auction day the weather was fantastic, with sunshine and lightly dressed people, but the next day it nearly turned into autumn with gale and rain. Luckily this was not the situation at the auction. The Friday started with the Scandinavian countries and some really interesting results, especially the two very rare Finnish strips. The Saturday was of course the D-day that also lived up to the high expectations. We are naturally thinking of the section First & Early issues of the World and the outstanding Swedish section. We strongly recommend you to study this result list carefully! We have said it before but it is worth repeating, the Internet is fantastic. It has helped the entire stamp world to come closer together. At every auction we are getting more and more bids by , not least from the different stamp auction portals. Without the Internet we would for instance never have got nearly a hundred bids on the two Chinese minisheets. The United States Department of Defence created the Internet during the cold war. Thank you! Now we are preparing for the coming exciting exhibitions with London 2010 as the really great happening. Nearest in time is Antverpia 2010, where we are participating without stand, but nearest geogra phi - cally is Nordia 2010 in Borås. Please be aware that next auction will be strongly promoted internationally including viewing at PORTUGAL 2010 in Lisbon. Finally we wish the Swedish Philatelic Federation the best of luck with their congress. Enjoy the summer, but be very moderate with the sun!
