2 ENTE MORALE D.M REGISTRATO CORTE DEI CONTI EDUCATION SECTION FOR THE STUDENTS OF ALL TYPES OF SCHOOLS, INCLUDING VOCATIONAL AND HOTEL SCHOOLS, The students of the above-mentioned schools may take part in the Competition, each with a single piece of work. The participation is free of charge. Entries may consist in a piece of written work or artwork (graphic work, painting, sculpture, multimedia work etc.) concerning the theme: The most deserving work, chosen in each School, should be sent, by registered post, by the respective Headmasters by October 30 th 2013 to the: Via Flaminia, Roma Italy It is necessary to specify the name of the School, the surname and the name of the student and of the teacher who has followed the work. Each piece of work sent will become exclusive property of the Museo Nazionale delle Paste Alimentari and it will not be possible to ask for their return. ART SCHOOLS etc. of the National Museum of Pasta Foods, the only one of its kind in the world, has organized in 2013 a competition addressed to the students of all types of Italian schools and to the students of the schools located in the area of San Francisco (CA), United States. The Prize aims to promote knowledge and appreciation of Italian Pasta, the education of students in learning the nutritional value of this typical Italian food and the spread of Italian gastronomic culture worldwide. Pasta as an alternative to junk food. Jury The jury is composed of the President and Vice President of the Museum and of: ANDREA ANSUINI VINCENZO COMI FILIPPO SALADINI H. E. GIOVANNI D ERCOLE The jury will make a final selection of the papers submitted and select the prize-winners. Ex-aequo prizes are contemplated. Prizes The following prizes are contemplated: No. 1 Prizes of Euro 500 (five hundred) and a silver Trophy to the winning student, one Prize of 500 Euro (five hundred) and a silver Trophy to the teacher who has followed the work. No. 5 Prizes consisting of a silver Trophy each to the students and to their Teachers who have followed the work. No. 6 Trophies to the Headmaster of the winner s school. The first six or more students together with their Teachers and Headmasters will receive their prizes during a ceremony the location of which will be timely communicated. It would be greatly appreciated if you would pass on the present announcement of the Competition.

3 SECTION FOR JOURNALISM ENTE MORALE D.M REGISTRATO CORTE DEI CONTI The National Museum of Pasta, the only one of its kind in the world, has resolved to award a Prize for journalism in 2013 addressed to the journalists of the Italian and Californian (United States) press. The Prize aims to promote knowledge and appreciation of Italian Pasta, the education in learning the nutritional value of this typical Italian food, which can contribute to alleviate the world hunger problem. Art. No.1 Registered professional and Art. Art. No.2 The prize is organized in four sections: Newspaper - Internet Section Magazine Section Radio Section Television Section Art. No.3 Four Prizes of Euro (one thousand ) and one silver Trophy for each winning journalist in each of the four sections. Up to two ex- aequo winners are contemplated, according to the final decision of the jury, and in this case they will share the prize. The jury also reserves the right to transfer the prize of one of these sections to another. Art. No. 4 For 2013 the theme is: Art. No.7 Taking part in the Competition implies the acceptance of these regulations. The decision of the Jury is final. 4 The National Museum of Pasta has organized a competition in 2013 addressed to the students and the graduates in the Faculty of Medicine and in the in Food Science and Nutrition of the Universities in Italy and in the area of San Francisco (CA), United States, who, through their studies, may make an important contribution towards promoting the spread of Italian pasta worldwide. Two prizes of Euro (one thousand) each are contemplated. The winners will receive the silver Trophy. Art. No.1- Students and graduates in the Faculty of Medicine and Food Science and Nutrition of the Universities in Italy and in the area of San Francisco (CA), United States, may take part in the Competition. Art. No.2 The participants should send in their works, together with their curriculum vitae, by registered post, by October 30 th 2013, to the following address: Via Flaminia, Roma (Italy) Art. No. 3 The Jury of the Prize consists of the President and Vice- President of the Museum, and of: ANGELO LABRINI ANDREA CONTINI UNIVERSITY SECTION Faculty of Medicine and Department of Food Science and Nutrition RAIMONDO ZAGAMI GIUSEPPE BRANCA The Jury may award ex-aequo prizes to two competitors who have sent equally deserving works. In this case the prize will be shared in equal parts between the two winners. Art. No.4 - The theme of the Prize is: Pasta is nutrition: differences between eating habits in Italy and United States Art. No.5 Taking part in the Competition implies the acceptance of these regulations. The decision of the Jury is final. Infor mation about The Museum Prize may be requested directly from the Museum office. The location of the prize-giving ceremony will be timely communicated.

5 MARKET COMMUNICATION SECTION The National Museum of Pasta, the only one of its kind in the world, has resolved to award a Prize, in 2013 in Italy and in United States, which aims to promote communication directed to the market of the pasta products and other food industries. The Museum has also resolved to award special Museum prizes. Art. No.1 Production companies may take part in the Competition with television or radio commercials or images broadcasted or published within October 30 th The members of the jury may indicate deserving works, at their own discretion. Art. No.2 The jury consists of the Museum President and Vice-President and of: NICOLA SGRO FLAVIA ANSUINI PIETRO DE LELLIS GIUSEPPE CAMINITI Art. No.3 For 2013 from three up to twelve prizes are foreseen, consisting in finely engraved silver trophies. These trophies will be awarded to the best advertisements for pasta and other food products industry. Art. No.4 The participants should send in their works (three copies of the images published, three videotapes or recording tapes for television or radio) by October 30 th 2013 by registered post to the following address: Via Flaminia, Roma (Italy) Art.
