1 XXXII INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF ANIMATION CINEMA AND COMICS FROM 9 TH TO 17 TH JULY The Festival shows animation films in three international areas chose those in which you want to submit your Short Film: 6 th Cartoon Club Award, competitive, open to short animation films made by professionals and production houses. 20 th Signor Rossi Award, competitive, open to animation films made by students of high schools, colleges, universities and animation cinema schools. International Showcase, non-competitive, open to animation films made by professionals and production houses who are not interested in the competitive sections, or who just want to show their most recent products. Plus a section dedicated to short animations for children : Cartoon Kids Award, among the films participating in the Cartoon Club Award, the Signor Rossi Award and International Showcase, the direction of the Festival will select, at its discretion, some short animated films aimed at a target child. Among these films a jury of only children will decide the winner of the Cartoon Kids Award. REGULATIONS 1. ADMISSION CONDITIONS The sections are open to films produced since 1 st January 2014, that have not participated to our Awards before. The admission is free of charge. Our commission, whose decisions are unquestionable, will choose the films that will be admitted to the festival. In order to be accepted for the selection, participants must follow these instructions: A send a good quality copy of the film on DVD or through the web ( , wetransfer, on download from server or link), preferably in mpeg2 format, and your film duration can be upto 30 min. B send the entry form, correctly filled up in all its sections and signed: either a printed sheet, sent via snail mail, or a digital file (signed and scanned file) via . C send a short biography of the director (max 10 lines), the dialogues of the film, three stills (high resolution) and a short synopsis (max 10 lines). All these things are necessary for the communication supports (festival catalogue and website) and promotion with the mass-media. You can send them to our headquarters on a CD-Rom, or via to info@cartoonclub.it, writing clearly the title of the film. Only the subscriptions that will include these files in digital format will be accepted (no printed stills, no photocopies).

2 D If the dialogues or the subtitles are in a language different from Italian, please include also the translation in English or French. Within 30 th June 2016, the list of the selected films will be available on the Festival website. 2. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT THE FILMS FOR THE PRE-SELECTION: 11 th June Works received after this date will be accepted only at the Festival's discretion. 3. WHERE TO SEND THE DVDs The films must be sent to this address: CARTOON CLUB VIA CIRCONVALLAZIONE OCCIDENTALE, RIMINI (RN) ITALIA 4. TRANSPORT The entrant will cover all the costs for the transport of the films. The parcel must be marked "no commercial value". The Festival cannot be charged for any cost due to customs. 5. RETURN OF FILMS AND FESTIVAL'S VIDEO ARCHIVE The video copies will not be returned; they will remain in the Festival s video library. 6. THE JURIES - The juries of the Signor Rossi Award and of the Cartoon Club Award are composed by five members each. The jurors are chosen among Italian and international professionals of animation cinema and comics. - The Jury of the Cartoon Kids Award is composed by 1000 children from 6 to 11 years old, coordinated by an animation cinema professional and a cinema journalist. 7. AWARDS - The director who wins the Signor Rossi Award receives a statuette of Signor Rossi (the well-known character created by the Italian author Bruno Bozzetto) and a money prize of Euros. At the jury s discretion, one or more works may receive a special mention. - The director who wins the Cartoon Club Award receives the Cartoon Club prize : a trophy made in plexiglass, with a serigraphy of Kelvin the seagull, which is the mascot of the festival. - The director who wins the Cartoon Kids Award receives the Cartoon Kids plate. 8. ACQUITTANCE ABOUT USE OF PERSONAL DATA Information: according to the Italian law about privacy (d.lgs 196/2003, available for download on our website) about treatment of personal data, the entry form info will not be used nor shared with anyone

3 for commercial purposes. Signing the entry form, you accept the treatment of the personal data in order to receive info related with Cartoon Club and its activities (i.e.: publication of contact info in the Festival catalogue, sending you catalogues and/or new entry forms, sending selections of films for other festivals or cultural associations, etc. Without your signature (and therefore your consent), Cartoon Club will not be able to process your application. 9.
