Energy Saving Finance Limited and ESF Energy Limited ( ESF ) ESF advises and raises funds, both equity and debt, for commercial organisations wishing to secure their future energy, heat and water at a known cost while benefitting from the savings available through the use of modern technologies.
Proposition & Process Our clients are all commercial organisations. ESF provides a front-end consultancy service, including business and financial modelling, together with guidance on the collation of all relevant documentation and contractual agreements. ESF partners with industry specialists who advise on the optimal technology to suit each client s requirements. Once this process is complete ESF promotes the project to a number of specialist funders leading to funding offers, due diligence and financial close. Consultancy ESF provides a front-end consultancy service to ensure that each project is presented to funders in a format that is acceptable to them and ready for due diligence. Project Finance ESF raises 100% funding by specialist investors or debt providers once a project has planning permission and other necessary permitting and consents. Project Refinancing ESF can arrange to refinance existing operating assets where there is a requirement to buy out original investors and funders or to aggregate asset classes as an operating portfolio. Asset Finance and Leasing ESF can arrange leasing and asset finance for a number of technologies provided the covenant of the borrower is acceptable to the lender.
Partners Specialist Consultants Funding Private Equity Sector Specialists Planning Permitting Design Country Specific Banking Experts Family Offices Environmental Legal Site Finding Technology Providers Investors and Funds Solar Anaerobic Digestion Waste to Energy Biomass On-Site Power Generation Heat Recovery Wind Short Term Operating Reserve Hydro Water Treatment Specialist Funders Equity Investors Debt Providers
Anaerobic Digestion ESF has successfully raised funding for several Anaerobic digestion plants throughout the UK and Northern Ireland using both arable feedstock and food waste.
Biomass ESF successfully raised funding for the roll out programme of biomass and gas heating units for a large Housing Association. This enabled the client to replace old and inefficient heating systems without interruption of heat and hot water supply to their residents.
Heat Recovery ESF have been asked to look at a number of projects to recover heat from water, gas cooling and exhaust stacks as well as projects to optimize and update existing heat recovery systems.
Hydro ESF can raise funding for medium and larger scale hydro projects using proven technology.
Solar PV ESF raised funding for a 10.5MW solar farm on behalf of a well established EPC contractor and developer. ESF can also arrange for the purchase of shovel ready ground mount and rooftop projects as well as the aggregation of established operating solar PV assets.
STOR ESF is currently raising equity and debt for an established STOR operator to install plant and transmission equipment used to generate standby power assisting the National Grid to meet its capacity market requirements.
Waste to Energy ESF works with proven technology providers in the field of Waste to Energy (W2E) often referred to as Energy from Waste (EFW), generally for on site generation of electricity and heat for large heat and power users.
Water Treatment ESF have been involved with financial modeling for an on site water treatment plant for a food processor. This provided the client with significant savings on the cost of disposal of their brown water and purchase of potable clean water for use in their manufacturing processes.
Wind ESF can fund medium scale onshore wind projects and have reviewed a number of multiple turbine projects.
