From a passing valve to a complete turnkey boiler house installation, Steam Plant Engineering offers the knowledge, experience and expertise to carry out the complete job. Based in the heart of the West Midlands at the hub of the motorway network, we are ideally situated to offer a speedy response to all our customers, both nationwide and overseas including a 24 hour service. We acquired the Brittania Heatex (formerly Crane Engineering) business in 2003 and relocated the service and test equipment to our works in Halesowen, West Midlands. Steam Plant Engineering Ltd offer a complete, guaranteed, cost effective in house or in situ service of almost any make of valve from 15mm to 500mm. Steam Plant Engineering are a Zurich accredited service centre and regularly audited ensuring all valves are overhauled and tested to the highest standards. 4

Design Our feed tanks are manufactured to suit the customers individual needs. A detailed drawing of the connection requirements is essential when the unit is a replacement and will reduce pipework alteration and downtime. Where restricted access is available we can prefabricate units in kit form from our Halesowen works and carry out the final construction on site. Materials Stainless s Steel: F Feed tanks and all wetted parts are manufactured anufactu from AISI 304L or AISI 316L grade de stain stainless steel. The tank is internally supported ed using stainless steelangle. Mild steel can be used and internally coated. (Please note e that stainless steel hotwells can be subject to corrosion if high concentrates concen of Chlorides are present in the system).
