Location: The university sports Facilities On Campus Accommodation: Novotel Leuven Centrum - Leuven, (Kuurstruiskaan, B Leuven) Participants (List Attached in Appendix A): Total of 60 participants from UOB 1. American University of Sharjah - UAE Greece: 1. American College of Greece DEREE Departure Two buses departed on March 28 th, 2011 at 11:30 p.m. from UOB. The buses arrived to Beirut International Airport on Thursday March 29 th at 1:00a.m. The UOB delegation traveled on Lufthansa Airlines (via Frankfurt). Once in Frankfurt the delegation was divided into 2 groups, each group on a different flight. The first Group waited one hour in Frankfurt; it was composed of the following team members: Volleyball Men & Women; Tennis Men & Women. The 2 nd group waited 3 hours in Frankfurt; it was composed of the following team members: Basketball Men & Women; Soccer Men. Arrival to Brussels Both groups left Brussels Airport at 10:30 a.m. with 2 Coach Bus heading to Leuven. (Note that the time difference is -1 hour of Beirut time). Representatives from the organizing committee were present at the Airport. The UOB groups were then transferred to Hotel Novotel (Leuven centrum) (Kuurstruiskaan, B Leuven). The participants were accommodated in double and triple bedroom units. After checking-in, a coordination meeting was held between students, athletic instructors and the athletic coordinator.

3 Competition Results Details of the results and competitions are listed below. Basketball Women Tournament: there were 5 participating Teams divided into 1 pool which comprised of the following teams: - AUB - Lebanon - UOB - Lebanon - American University of Sharjah - UAE - American college of Greece DEREE - KUL - Belgium Results: First Round: - UOB (26) vs. AUB - Lebanon (38) UOB Lost - UOB (13) vs. KUL - Belgium (52) UOB Lost - UOB (33) vs. AUS UAE (24) UOB Won - UOB (37) vs. DEREE Greece (41) UOB Lost UOB Basketball Women Team Took the Fourth Place in the Female Basketball Championship. Football Men Tournament: there were 8 participating Teams divided into 2 pools. The UOB varsity team was in Pool A which comprised of the following teams: Pool A: - LAU Byblos - Lebanon - UOB - Lebanon - American university of Paris France - AUB - Lebanon Results: First Round: - UOB (2) vs. AUP France (0) UOB Won - UOB (1) vs. LAU Byblos - Lebanon (0) UOB Won - UOB (1) vs. AUB Lebanon (3) UOB Lost UOB Football (men) Team was classified as Second in Pool A, the Football (men) Team qualified to the Second Round (which was the semi-final).

7 Tennis Men Friendly Tournament: there were 4 participating players divided into 1 pool. The Tennis Men players were: Results: - Naji Safi - UOB - Matias - KUL - Robert - KUL - Nick - KUL - Naji Safi (4) vs. Matias KUL (9) Naji Lost - Naji Safi (3) vs. Robert KUL (9) Naji Lost - Naji Safi (5) vs. Nick KUL (9) Naji Lost Naji lost all his games; Naji was classified as fourth in the Tournament General Comments The level of sports from universities and faculties was very competitive. It was a great experience for UOB varsity team members and coaches to be exposed to such high level of competitions. UOB varsity team members were extremely polite and cooperative. The UOB teams and coaches took the opportunity on Saturday March 31 st (after noon) to tour the city of Brussels and on Sunday April 1 st they took the train to Amsterdam where they spent 4 hours in the city then returned to Leuven.
