Honey and hive products: source of income to the farm family, helps employment generation.

Training to be imparted to beekeepers/farmers before extending assistance. Need to maintain separate record of budget spent on beekeeping training. Cluster approach to be adopted for beekeeping. Involvement of industry and NGOs. Beekeepers getting benefits to register with NBB. Registration of beekeepers is for five years. Registration form available on NHM website ( Migration of bee colonies to places of more bee friendly flora to be facilitated without difficulties at state borders and check posts in respect of all beekeepers.
