1 EXHIBITORS PACK Information & Booking Forms New Traders General Booking Conditions Insurance Terms & Conditions (a copy will be signed at your first market) Event Information & Booking Forms Location The Crescent Arts Centre 2-4 University Road Belfast Co. Antrim Northern Ireland BT7 1NH +44 (0) The Crescent is a diverse community arts centre which has served the population of Belfast and beyond with a wide range of arts and cultural activities for almost 30 years. It is housed in an historic four storey listed building located at 2-4 University Road, built originally in 1873 as what would later become Victoria College. The Studio is a multi purpose space. One wall is lined with mirrors and barres, while the other is lined with windows that look out onto the historic Crescent Church and Lower Crescent Park, acoustic doors connect to the black box theatre, The Cube.

2 Market Information An artisan market, showcasing the work of independent artists, designers, illustrators and crafters alongside stalls from collectors of records, books and vintage/preloved clothing. We do not accept resale, bought in goods or mass produced items. Monthly market, held on the last Sunday of the month. There is no market in JULY or JANUARY The Christmas Market will be moved forward to the SUNDAY that falls before December 25 th There will be a number of additional Events throughout the year and details of these can be found on our website Cost standard fee of 35 per space per event, any additional space required for further tables or clothing rails etc. will be reviewed and discussed prior to your booking being confirmed and an additional charge will be incurred. Exhibitor variation costs: STANDARD SPACE WITH 2 x 5 TABLE 35 ADDITIONAL SPACE * 20 SPACE FOR FACE PAINTING / HENNA / PORTRAITURE etc 25 SPACE FOR 1 CLOTHING RAIL & 31 diametre ROUND TABLE 35 SPACE FOR 2 LARGE or 3 SMALL CLOTHING RAILS ONLY 45 SPACE FOR 2 CLOTHING RAILS & 5 x 2 TABLE 60 Opening times: 11.30am 3.30pm Set up can take place from 9.30am and all exhibitors must have their stalls completed for public opening at 11.30am Packing up of stalls is not permitted before 3.30pm Sharing of stalls is only allowed subject to all exhibitors being approved to exhibit through the normal Expression of Interest procedure You'll be supplied with 2 chairs and a table measuring a minimum of 4'7 x 2'4 You can bring other furniture to put on the table, but we can't unfortunately confirm if there is space alongside your stall until booking. All stall displays, stands and products for sale must be safe, inoffensive and portable. You will have to bring your own tablecloths etc. Electricity is available. We recommend that all electrical equipment be PAT certified for use. No naked flames are permitted The Fine & Dandy Market has the right to ask stallholders to remove any of their exhibits and to make alterations to their display if they are deemed unsuitable, create a hazard, have not been agreed prior to booking or for any other legitimate reason. General Booking Conditions Confirmed bookings Bookings are only accepted after an Expression of Interest Form has been received and approved by the Fine & Dandy Market. All bookings will now be taken on a first come, first served basis

3 There will only ever be ONE bakery accepted per market and there will also be a capped number of exhibitors from each discipline to keep the markets variety and Bookings will only become effective when we receive your booking form and payment. Payment will only be accepted via PAYPAL A PAYPAL invoice will be issued upon receipt of your confirmed, completed booking form, we will continue to accept applications from other exhibitors within your discipline if payment is not completed within 3 days of invoicing Allocation of spaces at the venue is at the sole discretion of The Fine & Dandy Market. Confirmation of your booking will be sent by Should the Market become over-subscribed, applications will be placed on a waiting list and exhibitors informed as soon as possible in advance of the market if a cancellation has been received. Receipts for payment will be issued if required. Please ask.. Right to refuse Not all applications will be successful, as we need to have a good mix and quality of exhibitors. The Fine & Dandy Market reserves the right to refuse applications without having to justify its decision. Sale item Your booking will be taken on the basis of the information given. PLEASE BE HONEST ON YOUR APPLICATION FORM You will not be able to display or sell items not listed or which the organiser feels to be inappropriate. Under the terms & conditions of our Market Licence, counterfeit or stolen goods are not to be sold at the market, anyone found with these items will be asked to leave and banned from making any future bookings. We are offering exhibition space to those people who hand make their own products, crafts or artwork of any kind, plus high quality food & drink produce, all locally produced. We will also consider high quality fair trade goods. Please contact us if you have any questions or wish to enquire if you can trade. Those who trade in mass-produced products, such as home selling goods, will be refused a stall, subject to our discretion. Cancellation by Exhibitors Exhibitors are liable to pay for all market dates booked with no cancellation fee payable. However, at the discretion of the organiser, should an exhibitor wish to withdraw a confirmed booking for any reason, giving more than 15 days notice, then there will be a cancellation/administration fee of 25% of the total fee. Christmas events Priority for booking for the Christmas market dates, November and December, will be given to those traders who have supported the market throughout the year.

4 Certificates / Insurance All exhibitors must take responsibility for their own Public, Product or Employers Liability Insurance. All food producers must also enclose a copy of their local authority registration details and their food hygiene certificates. The Fine & Dandy Market does not hold any liability for any trader or their products. Every exhibitor shall participate in the market entirely at his or her own risk in every respect, and shall absolve Kellie Mairs and The Fine & Dandy Market from responsibility for such risks, including personal injury, loss or damage to property: however this injury, loss or damage may be caused whether by fire, theft, inclement weather, interruption of power, defect in the equipment and building or failure of subcontractors or agents to perform. Kellie Mairs and The Fine & Dandy Market cannot be held responsible, and its exhibitors absolve it from any responsibility, for loss of profits, for damage or theft of traders stock. We do not provide insurance cover for theft or damage to Exhibitors stock and recommends that they take adequate insurance against all risks. This is a condition of booking. TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITORS By booking for any event the exhibitor is agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions as laid out. ALL EXHIBITORS MUST SIGN A COPY OF THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS AND SIGN TO SAY THEY HAVE BEEN PROVIDED WITH A COPY OF DON T CHANCE IT : A GUIDE TO SUPPLYING SAFE GOODS at their first Market. The Fine & Dandy Market does not hold any liability for any trader or their products. Exhibitors are responsible for taping cables to the floor to prevent tripping accidents. We recommend that all electrical equipment be PAT certified for use. No naked flames are permitted The Fine & Dandy Market has the right to ask stallholders to remove any of their exhibits and to make alterations to their display if they are deemed unsuitable, create a hazard or for any other legitimate reason.

5 HEALTH AND SAFETY It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to keep their stand tidy during opening hours of the market, both from the point of presentation as well as a Health and Safety perspective. All packing boxes should be stored safely in vehicles or under display tables, and should not project into aisles or areas where exhibitors or visitors will be moving around. Under no circumstances and in the interests of Health and Safety to members of the public, are exhibitors permitted to dismantle displays before the market closes at 3.30pm. EXHIBITS Allocation of spaces at the venue is at the sole discretion of The Fine & Dandy Market. Exhibitors are responsible for checking that tables supplied by the venue are suitable for the safe display of their goods and capable of bearing their weight, checking in particular that tables are safely erected with the legs secured in place. SALE ITEMS Your booking was taken on the basis of the information given. You will not be able to display or sell items not listed or which the organiser feels to be inappropriate. Under the terms & conditions of the Market License, counterfeit or stolen goods are not to be sold at the market, anyone found with these items will be asked to leave and banned from making any future bookings. FIRE PROCEDURES Exhibitors are responsible for making themselves aware of the positioning of fire exits and for familiarising themselves with the fire procedures of the venue. All fire exit doors must remain clear at all times, I must stress how important it is that exhibitors do not sprawl from their area and keep all floor space and doors clear at all times. SECURITY Exhibitors are reminded that the organizer and the venue are not responsible for any loss or damage that may occur at any time during the event and valuables should not be left unattended. Each exhibitor has the responsibility to ensure that they have adequate insurance.
