4 REQUIREMENTS Tour/Excursions are limited, and all inclusions apply to wedding couple only unless otherwise noted. Restrictions apply. Non-Refundable Government/Administrative fee - $350.00/Wedding - $150.00/Vow Renewal are applied to packages with 5 nights (paid) stay or less, and must be paid within 10 days of making the wedding booking, in addition to the cost of the selected package. *Please note that proof of payment must be presented at the hotel. Bookings made within 21 days of arrival are subject to $ late fee. *Please note that proof of payment must be presented at the hotel. 72 hours residency requirement Weddings & 48 hours residency requirement Renewals (Business hours, excluding weekends and public holidays). Ceremony must take place on the premises of Breezes Bahamas. Complimentary Weddings/Renewals requires a six (6) night minimum paid reservation. All Wedding Package prices apply to stays of six (6) nights or more. Proof of birth Valid Passport and Photo identification (Valid Drivers License, Passport or State Id Card). If divorced, certified copy/copies, of the final divorce decree(s) (Issued by an official Government Office/clerk). The Registrar General will retain divorce Decree(s). If divorced multiple times, all decrees must be presented. If widowed, certified copy/copies of the death certificate (Issued by an official Government Office/clerk) for deceased spouse, these will be retained by the Registrar General. If widowed multiple times, all death certificates must be presented. A blood test is NOT required. Both parties must be in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas at the time of the application and you must Hand-carry documents to Breezes Bahamas. All documents must be in english. Both parties must provide evidence of the date of their arrival into The Bahamas (Immigration Cards are issued at Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau.) If never married, being a resident of the USA, a declaration certifying this fact must be sworn before a Lawyer or Notary Public in Nassau, Bahamas. (This is done on resort) If never married, being a citizen or resident of any country other than the USA, a declaration certifying this fact must be sworn personally by the couple before a Notary Public or Lawyers office in their country and brought to The Bahamas. 5 WEDDING DATE & TIME Wedding ceremonies are available every day of the week (Monday through Saturday) between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm. Your wedding date and time must be confirmed at least 21 days in advance by contacting our Personal Pre-planning consultant at or ing MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE Your marriage will be honored / recognized worldwide. All couples applying for a marriage license within The Commonwealth of The Bahamas must appear and apply in person at the Registrar General s Office. A personalized escort service can be hired to aid this process at a cost of $50.00 per couple. The Government of The Bahamas presently requires each couple to obtain proper government certified wedding documents, to prove the international validity of their marriage. This is done through the attainment of a Government Certification, which includes a certified marriage certificate with an International Apostille affixed. This process carries a mandatory fee of $60.00 per couple, payable on resort in cash or traveler s cheques. Certification process and mailing time is approximately 6-8 weeks. You may opt to pay a Rush Fee of an additional $30.00 (Also payable on resort in cash or traveler s cheques) to reduce the processing and delivery time to 3-4 weeks. GOVERNMENT, ADMINISTRATIVE & OTHER FEES Government & administrative fees are waived for stays of six (6) nights or more. For stays of five (5) nights or less, couples must pay $350 (USD) government & administrative fees for weddings / $150 (USD) for vow renewals. An additional fee of $750 (USD) for weddings / $500 (USD) for vow renewals applies to all industry (agent) discount and complimentary bookings. A late booking fee of $150 (USD) applies to all weddings confirmed within twenty-one (21) days of arrival. 6 YOUR GUESTS It s your big day! Whether your ideal destination wedding is an intimate ceremony with just the two of you or an event to share with all your loved ones, Breezes can create a Dream Wedding to remember! GUESTS OF THIS RESORT Your wedding includes seating and setup for up to ten (10) people (twelve (12) including the bride & groom). See set-up fees listed below for parties of more than ten (10) guests. GUESTS OF OTHER RESORTS CEREMONY & RECEPTION PASS Up to four (4) complimentary Guest Ceremony passes are available for guests staying at other resorts. These Guest Ceremony passes are valid only for the duration of the ceremony and reception. Ceremony passes do not include meals, drinks or other activities outside of the ceremony and reception. Additional Guest Ceremony passes are available for $30 (USD) per person. FULL DAY WEDDING PASS Full Day Wedding passes are available for guests staying at other resorts who wish to enjoy a full day at our resort in addition to attending your ceremony and reception. A Full Day Wedding pass is valid for eight (8) hours and includes meals, drinks and other activities. Access is not permitted to guest rooms or other non-public facilities at the resort. Full Day Wedding passes are available for $90 (USD) per person. RECEPTION SET-UP FEES FOR MORE THAN TEN (10) GUESTS Parties of eleven (11) or more guests are subject to a $15 (USD) per person set-up charge.
