3 Demo building designs Two types of housing models developed Draft manuals were produced based on designs and cost estimates provided by Zambian architects Designs obtained from designs competitions organised for members of ZIA (Zambia Institute of Architects) Collaboration with local architect Mutinta Sichali will participate through plans revision and final manual development Cost estimates/boqs verified in collaboration with MLN Associates Contracts with local contractors finalised and construction starts soon = now! 21/05/2015 3

Some experiences: Green in Finland is not green in Zambia but physics is universal! Procedures in constructions are different (land issues, permissions, BOQ, agreements, technical solutions, ) benchmarking needed! Local network is in key role Time is running quickly!
