The new stainless steel tanks are selfemptying and selfcleaning and have double jackets to precisely control the fermentation temperature. Our sophisticated bottling line has capacity for 18,000 bottles an hour. And all of this in perfect harmony with another essential part of the process: the keeping of the wine in thousands of oak barrels which imbue the flavours and aromas of long years of ageing. The vineyards are about meters which means that the period of maturation is very homogeneous and, therefore, gives a more elegant character to Cavas. Navarra and is located in the north of Spain, in the extreme west of the Pyrenees, 163 kilometers from the French border. It is surrounded by Aragon to the east, Rioja to the south and the Basque Country to the west.the grapes with which we make our wines come from our 200 hectares of vineyards and our technical team controls all of them. The average annual vintage is about 2,500,000 kg., of which 90% are red grapes and 10% are white grapes. We have 3500 Bordelaise barrels available. 60% are American oak and 40% are French oak. The majority of the barrels come from the best companies: Seguin Moreau, Demptos, Sylvain, Nadalie, Berthomieu and Vicard. The maximum lifespan of the barrels is 6 years. The barrels undergo annual evaluation. BODEGAS MARCO REAL has a spacious bottle cellar with temperature and humidity control. Capable of housing over 800,000 bottles, this cellar is the place where our and Reserva wines stay in optimum conditions until their ageing process is finished. The bottling line is found in an isolated area to avoid the production being contaminated by outside agents.the machinery that forms the bottling line comes from the most important companies in the sector: Sidel Group, Camex, RobinoGalandrino, Kronex, Cermex and Ocme. The entire bottling line is synchronized through a computer system and can produce 8,000 bottles an hour. The current winery covers 5,500 m2 constructed within a plot of 12,500 m2. The 525 Hectares of vineyard owned are divided into 1500 plots, with complete traceability from plot to bottle as well as full control over the whole production process.
