Enrollment: 35 students present Assistant Professor, Boise State University Child Development (Psyc 309) Taught large lecture-style class covering the psychological aspects of child development including cognitive development, social development, emotional development and physical development. Enrollment: students. Instructor, University of North Carolina, Greensboro Issues in Parenting (HDFS 321; online course) Developed an online course in parenting for the department and taught semester-length course via Blackboard. Enrollment: 50 students present Fall 2011 Instructor, California State University, Dominguez Hills Fall 2008 Stress, Risk and Resilience Developed syllabus, designed course lectures and activities, wrote exams, advised students and graded all course material. Course was an upper division class required for the Child Development major. Enrollment: 13 students. Instructor of Record, University of California, Irvine Winter 2008 Introduction to Human Behavior (w/ discussion sections) Developed syllabus, wrote course lectures and exams, designed discussion section activities, met with students, oversaw four teaching assistants and administered all grades. Data Collection Trainer for the National Children s Study, UC, Irvine March -June 2009 Led and conducted week-long, in-depth training sessions with field workers on data collection procedures for the enumeration and recruitment phase of this national study.

Assisted Dr. Haiou Yang in overseeing the work of eight other research assistants. Research Assistant, NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development, UC, Irvine Participated in Phase IV of data collection for this national study. Involved in piloting instruments, writing protocol manuals, running laboratory visits with adolescents, and meeting weekly with study PIs (Dr. Alison Clarke-Stewart and Dr. Elizabeth Cauffman). July Dec 2006 Research Assistant, Mother-Infant Interaction Project, UC, Irvine Developed protocol for mother-infant interaction, coded maternal sensitivity, trained undergraduate assistants in coding and oversaw their reliability. Research Assistant, NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development, UC, Irvine Coded videotaped interactions of study child with his/her best friend.
