8 I chose IBS for its good reputation, the internationally recognized British degree and a study abroad possibility with Erasmus. However, beyond these attractive features what I loved most in the end was the way we studied: sharing our thinking about real business issues in small groups, developing our self-confidence by doing loads of presentations, getting support from dedicated professors and inevitably becoming friends with people from many different countries. 9 BACHELOR S PROGRAMMES STUDY ABROAD WORK PLACEMENT Undergraduate Programmes All our bachelor s programmes are 3-year full-time courses of modular studies leading to Bachelor of Science degree conferred by The University of Buckingham. They start with a common first year that will allow you to make a decision with regard to your final specialisation choice as late as the end of the first year. In the sixth semester you will have to choose between doing a study-abroad or an internship. IBS offers a 50% Starter Scholarship for newcomers. ERASMUS Exchange Coming to IBS will open up opportunities for you to study abroad, without adding to the length of your studies. ERASMUS is the mobility programme of the EU for university students, teachers and staff. One semester abroad is available for all IBS students during their studies. We are happy to welcome over 100 students a year who come from our 68 ERASMUS partner universities. Work Placement Optional work placement in the sixth semester of your studies is an excellent opportunity for testing your strengths, showing your abilities and more often than not, finding your workplace. In recent years, close to 40 per cent of our students have found a job upon graduation at their placement organisation. 15 NON-DEGREE PROGRAMMES UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION PROGRAMME University Foundation Programme (UF) IBS offers a one-year Intensive English Language Programme with 600 hours of English including Business English. At the end of the programme students who work hard and achieve good results throughout the year may take the LCCI Intermediate Language Exam free of charge at the school. 16 Summer School This course contains 100 English language classes over four weeks in the summer. It aims to develop and practise general and business English at intermediate level. There are extracurricular activities like visits to museums, team-building activities and sightseeing in Budapest. This is a great chance to get to know Budapest and make new friends. 19 A state-of-the-art campus Consisting of three beautifully restored architectural heritage buildings, our main campus in Budapest is located in a business park directly by the Danube and is an ideal venue for education. 21 On-Campus Residence Hall The on-campus residence hall offers comfortable accommodation for 90 students in well-equipped single or shared en suite rooms with high-speed internet access. There is a laundry and communal kitchens available for our students. You can apply for a room on our online application form. Rooms will be secured in the order of payments.

22 Budapest The city is famous for its nightlife among students. There are hundreds of amazing venues, bars, cafés open around the clock. The historical downtown area offers plenty of ideas for a fun night out, ranging from some of the trendiest dining options and galleries to the hottest pop/ rock/electro events. The beautiful historic setting, spas and theatres mixed with a youthful vibe give you a truly unforgettable study abroad experience.

26 Cracow Cracow was allegedly founded upon the defeat of a dragon and has a mythical atmosphere. From the very first moment you will feel like a time traveller : the Wawel Castle, the Old Town and the impressive temples reveal the mysterious atmosphere of this historical city. However, as Cracow is the most significant Polish city culturally with a fast-growing international student community, you will definitely experience the perfect harmony of the past and the present.
