5 Task 1 Military Listening (English Version) I am sorry to report that there has been a serious road traffic accident. The accident took place an hour ago on the M1 motorway. Soldiers from a logistics regiment were in a convoy and travelling north. It was raining heavily and the soldiers had been driving for 6 hours. The vehicles in the convoy were mainly landrovers and large trucks. Suddenly one of the drivers lost control of his truck. The truck drove into a motorway bridge. 2 cars were overtaking the truck and crashed into it at speed. The police and ambulance services are at the scene of the crash. So far we know that one of the car drivers has been killed and the other is badly injured. The soldier who was driving the truck has head injuries and a helicopter has taken him to the local hospital. The police are investigating what caused the crash. 149 words 1. Soldater fra logistikregimentet kørte nordpå i konvoj. Det regnene meget, og soldaterne havde kørt i 6 timer. Køretøjerne i konvojen bestod mest af landrovers og store lastvogne. Pludselig mistede en af chaufførerne herredømmet over sin vogn. Lastvognen kørte ind i en motorvejsbro. 2 biler var ved at overhale lastvognen og kørte ind i den med stor hastighed.
