In this document, you will find the various sponsorship packages for our November 2016 event in Europe, where we are expecting 200 attendees to gather for two days, to celebrate Ubuntu and how it is being used as the platform of choice for developer desktops, cloud services and the Internet of Things. 5 Participant Sponsorship Details In-kind Sponsor If you directly pay for an Ubuntu Member to attend both days for UbuCon Europe, we will consider that a sponsorship as well, and will promote your contribution to UbuCon Europe on our website. Just include the name (or Launchpad nickname) of the Ubuntu Member in the sponsorship form.

7 Sponsorship Terms 1. The Ubuntu Community Summit ( UbuCon ) is being hosted by ubuntu Deutschland e.v., whose registered office is at Goethestrasse 1, Lüneburg, Deutschland ( ubuntu Deutschland e.v., c/o Torsten Franz ). 2. The applicant wishes to become a Sponsor of UbuCon (which will be held on the dates stated in this proposal and at the venue stated therein) and wishes to purchase the package noted in the Sponsorship Application Form. 3. All accepted applicants shall be subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement and shall be referred to herein as Sponsor(s). To align with the purpose of UbuCon, Sponsors should be committed to Free and Open Source Software deployment and improvement while supporting the Ubuntu project. 4. Sponsorship applicants will be handled and allocated as Sponsors by ubuntu Deutschland e.v. on a first come - first served basis. 5.ubuntu Deutschland e.v. retains the right to reject any applicant for sponsorship that it deems inappropriate and will allocate sponsorship places to applicants in its sole discretion. 6. Sponsorship applications cannot be processed without payment. Payment must be in Euros. All payments must be made to ubuntu Deutschland e.v. and provided in cleared funds to the bank account provided on the invoice no later than 30 days of the date of the invoice. All fees are exclusive of all applicable sales, use, value-added and similar taxes, which Sponsor shall pay in addition to the fees at the rate prevailing on the date of the invoice. 7. Sponsor hereby grants to ubuntu Deutschland e.v. the right and permission to use its name and/or logo for promotion of Ubucon and in granting this right, Sponsor warrants that it does not infringe any rights of any third party or any law or regulation. 8. In order to limit UbuCon costs, the conference organisers may limit the number of colours used to print Sponsor logos and Sponsor hereby consents to this with respect to its logo and name. 9. Sponsor may issue a press release or other notification of its appointment as a Sponsor, subject to any such release or notification and the timing thereof being agreed in advance with Canonical. 10. ubuntu Deutschland e.v. shall not be liable for Sponsor or its staff whilst any such are at the UbuCon venue.
