4 1.3 Train category All Veolia Transport Trains has train category Timetables For correct timetable information, please visit our website at Customer service on board Veolia Transport long distance trains have a full-scale restaurant coach serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, alcoholic beverages, snacks, sandwiches, coffee, tea and soft drinks. For regional distance trains (Sundsvall Östersund and Östersund Trondheim) there is limited service. The Night train Malmö Berlin has no services except for the ferry Trelleborg Sassnitz. 1.6 train composition Veolia Transport trains always have 2 nd Class seating coaches, long distance trains also has 1 st Class seating coaches. 5 2.2 Tariffs The tariffs are market-priced commercial products subject to special conditions of use. The fare range covers the different offers proposed for Veolia Transport trains. These offers may be changed over time. All railway agents having the ability to sell global priced offers according to the Hermes tariff codes can sell Veolia Transport. 5 (10)

6 2.4 Accounting Veolia Transport train global prices are accounted via Linkon (railway 74) according to the rules in the UIC Leaflet Tickets Tickets must be issued electronically via approved booking system and be linked to a reservation. Manually issued tickets are not accepted. All tickets are based on one-way fares. 2.6 Validity of tickets Tickets can be issued during the whole reservation period. Tickets are only valid on the train(s), day, time and date for which they are issued. 2.7 Exchanges All exchanges are considered as cancellations (in certain cases with a refund) and a new sale. 2.8 Refunds of refundable tickets A day coach and couchette refundable ticket may be refunded in full if is not used at all and cancelled no later than one day before the train departs from its original station. A seating ticket may be refunded in full if not used at all and cancelled 90 minutes before departure of the train from its original station. Veolia Transport handle requests for refunds submitted within the timetable set out by the CIV (up to 6 months after the ticket validity expires). The refund conditions specific for each product are contained in the table Tariffs. 2.9 Upgrades All upgrades are considered as a cancellation (within certain cases a refund) and a new sale Children Maximum of 2 children under 16 years of age who are travelling with an adult travel free in day coaches and pay a discounted price per child in couchette and sleeper accommodations. The tariff code child (Hermes code 73) must be used. For children travelling alone (up to 16 years of age) and youths between years of age the tariff code youth (Hermes code 76 or 86) must be used Students and offers 6 (10)

7 Students in Sweden with valid student s cards can use the Youth discount. Sweden: CSN-kortet, Mecenatkortet, Membitkortet, Studentkortet, ISIC-kortet Pets Pets are not allowed in couchettes. In day coaches it s allowed in specific wagons and compartments Groups The group discount, approximately 32 %, is granted for journeys with 6 fare-paying persons or more if the following requirements are met: All group members travel the same route and class. The group discount applies only in seating, couchette or sleeper coaches and cannot be combined with other discounts. The fee for accompanying children in couchette are not considered fare-paying persons. If the group ends up being less than 6 persons the group discount does no longer apply. Tickets must be issued electronically via approved booking system and are linked to a reservation. Manually issued tickets are not accepted. All tickets are based on one-way fares. The tariff code group (Hermes code 92) must be used. Group tickets may be refunded accordingly: If cancelled no later than 30 days before departure 100% refund If cancelled no later than 8 days before departure 75% refund If cancelled 7-1 days before departure 0% refund If not cancelled (no-show) 0% refund 2.14 Luggage Passengers may bring on board as much luggage as they can carry themselves, however, storage space for luggage is limited in the couchettes and sleepers. Veolia Transport reserves the right to deny any luggage that can be considered dangerous or extremely bulky. Skis must be packaged in a ski-bag to be considered as luggage. Passengers are responsible for their own luggage Bicycles Bicycles are allowed in some departures and destinations in summertime, please contact agent support for more information Lost and found Lost and found for Veolia Transport is administrated by Customer Service Center. If passengers have forgotten personal belongings on board the train they should be instructed to contact our office at Stop-over Stop-overs during a journey are not allowed. 8 2.18 Smoking All Veolia Transport trains are non-smoking International travel passes Inter Rail and Eurail travel passes are accepted on Veolia Transport trains, however an electronically booked ticked must be issued by using tariff code pass (Hermes code 44). Reservation is compulsory between Malmö Stockholm, Malmö Berlin and Malmö - Storlien Couchette 19 2 nd Class 2 1 st Class 15 (includes includes light meal) 2.19 Car Sleeper Trains (ARZ/TAA) There are no car sleeper trains services in Sweden, only couchettes. 8 (10)
