10 General terms and conditions Itineraries Timetable is subject to changes without advance notification. Jadrolinija as shipowner reserves the right to withdraw or amend any sailing deemed necessary due acts of God or any technical reason. Shipowner will take no responsibility for any consequences resulting from possible delay of any ferry, from possible change or witdhrawal of the voyage. Documentation Passengers should hold valid documents or visas (if necessary). On the International lines passenger is obliged to abide by the law, as the law of the country travelling from/ to. The passenger is obliged to show the documents on any request of agency or control services. Passenger does not have right on any reimbursement or on money refund if competent authorities refuse to embark or disembark the passenger due to non-valid travel document. For Rent-a- Car vehicles original documents are required. Groups Special rates are granted to groups that consist of minimum 15 passengers on international lines. Embarkation Embarkation starts 2-3 hours prior to departure of the ferry from the starting port or immediately upon arrival and disembarkation of passengers and vehicles in others. International line ticket holders should report to the port agent at least 3 hours prior to departure, otherwise Shipowner reserves the right to dispose of the booked accommodation without refund to the passenger. Jadrolinija does not guarantee the embarkation of the vehicles with incorrect data although the passenger has the ticket. Open Date Ticket Open date ticket is valid 12 months from the date of issue. Holders of open date ticket should make the necessary booking well in advance, and pay possible difference in fare as per tariff in force on the departure date. No refund shall be made to open date ticket holders in case of a lower price due a lower tariff, lower category of accommodation or a partial use of any pre-paid service. Cancellation Information Cancellation of a trip or its portion should be done prior to departure. A refund for an unused ticket or an unused portion of the trip will be done by the agency that issued the ticket, provided that the date of cancellation is duly confirmed in writing by an authorised office (travel agency or port agent). Shipowner is not responsible for any possible damage on unaccompanied vehicles, caused during embarkation/disembarkation. Warning Inflammatory and explosive substances in a solid, liquid or gas form are excluded from carriage. To reach the vehicle during the trip is possible only if permitted by a responsible person. Payment on Board All payments on board the ship are in convertible currency, American Express, Diners,Master/Eurocard and Visa. Meals When buying tickets, meals can be paid in advance. Meals can also be ordered and paid directly on board, while for groups Catering department should be contacted. On international lines breakfast is included in the cabin fare. Liability Shipowner limits liability for loss of life or personal injury in the amounts ruled by the Maritime Law of Croatia. Shi-

11 powner is responsible for loss or damage of documents, manuscripts, money and valuables, if they are deposited in the vessel s safe (and ascertained by the receipt). For cancelled tickets, you shall be refunded the cost of your trip less the following charges: Prior to departure Charge Up to 22 days 10% 21 8 days 20% Up to 7 days 30% On the day of departure 100% no refund Open date ticket holders shall be refunded, with 10% charge. No refunds can be made for NO SHOW or for non-cancelled reservation. One change of the voyage is possible until 24 hours prior to departure, the request should be done in writing, i.e. the presentation of the ticket is obligatory for ticket holders. Full refund for paid meals on board for individual passengers. No refunds for paid meals on board for group members for cancellations on the day of departure. forbidden to take pets in closed places assigned for passengers (café-bar, cabins, restaurant and toilette). Transport of pets is free of charge. Guide dogs of sightless persons can be taken in places assigned for passengers. Their nourishment is at the charge of the owners. Complaints and Claims Only complaints and claims submitted to Jadrolinija no later then 15 days after the voyage has ended, will be taken into consideration. Transport of Dogs and Other Pets Transport of animals is forbidden, unless pets (dogs, cats and birds). Owners of dogs and other pets are obliged to have valid veterinary certificate. Dogs must be provided with muzzle (except guide dogs of a sightless person) and must be held in leash, cats in boxes, birds in cages. It is
