3 Use of the vehicle Ownership The vehicle is owned by Athlon Sweden AB (hereafter referred to as Athlon). You are not allowed to sub-lease the vehicle out to another party, pawn or sell it. Utilization In the signed agreement, the company s employees and their families are given permission of normal usage of the vehicle in accordance with the registration, user manuals and other materials. If usage of the vehicle is entrusted to others, the customer has to ensure that the driver holds a valid driving license. Driving abroad It is permitted to drive the vehicle on public roads in Sweden and abroad. When driving abroad you need to bring the following: 1. A copy of the registration part 1 Contact Athlon well in advance if you do not have it. 2. A permit to drive in other countries issued by Athlon. Contact Athlon well in advance if you do not have it. 3. Green Card (for driving in certain countries) Order the Green Card from Athlon in advance if you will travel in any of the countries below: Albania Macedonia Ukraine Andorra Morocco Belarus Bosnia-Herzegovina Serbia & Montenegro Russia Iran Tunisia Moldovia Israel Turkey N.B. The above mentioned regulations on usage of the vehicle is applicable unless otherwise stated in your company s vehicle policy. Athlon 3

4 Repair and maintenance Conditions and in scope for maintenance Nationwide maintenance agreements Incl. standard tyres Incl. winter tyres Incl. free rental car The service agreement covers all service inspections as specified in the instruction and service manuals, as well as replacement and repair of defective parts in order for the vehicle to run smoothly. When it is time for maintenance Contact Athlon on Tell us where you would like to have the maintenance done and what the mileage on the car is. Athlon will designate you to a workshop where you can make an appointment. When making the appointment, inform the workshop that there is an agreement with Athlon. Bring the maintenance book to every workshop visit. N.B. To avoid being charged costs yourself it is important that maintenance is done according to the manufacturer s mileage intervals and that an approval together with a work order number from Athlon. Athlon Technical inspection For technical inspection, contact Bilprovningen on or at eller via Have your license plate number at hand. 4

5 Tyre shift When it is time for the seasonal shift, contact the tyre shop where your tyres are stored. When purchasing winter tyres and new standard tyres due to abrasion, contact Athlon for instructions and an approval number. All tyre purchases requires an approval number from Athlon. Tyre purchases made without an approval number will be charged to the customer. Contact Athlon at least two weeks in advance when in need of new winter tyres. The following is NOT included in the maintenance agreement Underbody treatment (rust), body and paintwork (varnish) Repair and mounting of accessories and extra equipment, interior and upholstery. Car wash and cosmetic maintenance, fuel refill and extra refill of oil, washer fluid, radiator fluid and similar fluids in between the maintenance inspections required by the manufacturer. Damages and repair due to negligence. Rental car in case of repair (unless otherwise agreed). Repair due to the driver s negligence when refilling fuel and other fluids. Damages which could have been covered by insurance or vehicle warranty (unless otherwise agreed). All costs related to flat tyres. Circumstances occurred due to strike or other forms of force majeure. Athlon 5

6 Accident abroad, see page 3. In case of accident Damage report/ insurance claim must be done within 10 days of the damage date. In case of accident during the first three years During the first three years, the manufacturer will repair vehicle damages such as collision, traffic damage and roadkill. 1. In case of a single vehicle accident, submit a damage report to the manufacturer s insurance company which is valid the first three years. If there is a counterpart involved in the accident the damage report must be made to Moderna Försäkringar. 2. Go to an authorized/certified workshop and provide them with the reference number you received from the insurance company. Ask the workshop to contact Athlon. Go to a workshop and provide them with the reference number. 3. Ask the workshop to contact Athlon. Moderna Försäkringar

7 Recovery First: recovery by manufacturer agreement. See vehicle manual. Second: Assistanskåren Other damages Moderna Försäkringar Other damages such as glass pane, theft and fire are included in an insurance from Moderna Försäkringar. In case of broken glass/windshield In case of stone chip contact Carglass or Ryds Bilglas, who are certified by Moderna Försäkringar. In order for the repair to be successful, the stone chip must be as clean and fresh as possible. The damage report is done at an auto glass workshop. In case of a break-in If there is a break-in or if other damage is done to the windows of your vehicle, contact an auto glass workshop (see above) for a temporary solution. 8 Returning the vehicle To whom should the vehicle be returned? The vehicle should be delivered to an address in agreement with Athlon. When returning the vehicle Upon return of the vehicle, both interior and exterior must be cleaned with all logo stickers removed. Don t forget to include: Summer and winter tyres Completely filled out maintenance manual All other equipment that was in the vehicle when delivered, such as roof racks, roof box, extra lighting, DVD screens, dog fence etc. All keys The condition of the vehicle will be assessed by an independent party, taking the mileage and age of the car into account. When it comes to damages of the vehicle, the customer is obliged to either sign a damage report to the insurance company or to indemnify the expense to Athlon in the form of financial settlement. This also includes damages which normally is not covered by the insurance company. Examples of damages which are notifiable: Scratches A change in the varnish; a scratch which is too deep to disappear when polishing. Dents Changes in the body sheet. Other damages No smoking in the vehicle! Damages caused by retrofitted equipment. Stone chip, broken windows, broken strips, damages interior, chipped rims etc. Follow us on LinkedIn
