1 DBA The Doctor of Business Administration Established in 1984, Binary University is a 5 STAR rated (Excellent) university by the Malaysian Government, the highest rating accorded to any public/private university in Malaysia. It is a leading institution for management and entrepreneurship education attracting students from over 60 countries. Binary University in collaboration with Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) is now offering the prestigious Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Zimbabwe. This Program is approved by the Zimbabwe Council of Higher Education (ZIMCHE). This programme will be delivered by Professors from Binary University and CUT. The DBA comprises eight (8) taught modules and a thesis. This part-time program is delivered using a block-release mode where participants will complete the modules and a thesis over a period of three (3) years. Aims and Objectives The DBA is an applied management programme designed to advance the professional development of practicing managers and professionals from diverse field. This programme helps you develop leading edge thinking by providing you the opportunity to research into intellectual demanding management issues, particularly relevant to your organisation or industry. Upon Completion of the DBA you will be able to: To develop a superior level of confidence in your management skills and foster competence in processes of researching. To cultivate the ability to challenge and critically review findings in current management and business research. To understand and apply new management knowledge to complex organisational issues. To deepen your knowledge and understanding of complexities linked to contemporary business issues, the connection between them and the application to organisational situations. To increase your awareness of professional practice in leading and managing organisations.

5 Application Admission op Admission Requirements Applicants should possess: i Possess a relevant Masters degree from a recognized institution/university. ii Possess a minimum of 3 years managerial / supervisory experience. Application Forms are obtainable upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of one hundred (100) United States Dollars. Forms can also be downloaded from: DBA-form.pdf. Online applications can be done through the University s website. Downloaded Application Forms should be accompanied by an Application Fee upon submission.
