12 Pipe Bursting Review Proper planning is critical to achieve success. Planning accounts for the majority of time spent on a PB project. Example: Minimal planning = a lot of time on site. Specifications are important explain who owns the risk in tender documents!!!! The more risk to the contractor the higher the price!!!! So sharing construction risk makes sense.. Up to 100 year asset life once installed correctly.

14 Pipe Reaming Uses a traditional HDD rig. With a special pipeeating reamer attached.

18 Pipe Reaming A special pipe-eating reamer is attached. And pulled back under rotation eating or grinding out the old pipe. Pulling a new pipe behind.
