1 Local PC TSplus Server communicating Advanced Capabilities Developer Guide 1) Specifications TSplus enable to exchange command lines between the user PC and the open session on the TSplus system. The goal of these new enhancement capabilities is to enable software developer to add easy command lines to automatically: - Start a local program from a remote session request - Start a remote program from a client side request - Send a file from the client into the server side (with or without open action) - Send remote file into the user local disk drive (with or without open action) - Start the user web browser when a link is selected within a session 2) Technology and requirement To enable this very performing new feature, the system must use the release or over. The client must be generated with the new release as well. This feature will only be available to Windows PCs using the Windows generated client or the Outside web browser Web Access client. The technology requires (1) the clipboard must be allowed (default setting) and (2) the user local disk drives shall be mapped within the session. The developer task is to copy the appropriate command line string into the clipboard, on the user side or on the server side. 3) Command lines Sending a local file to the server: Sendtoserver sourcefile= source, targetfile= destination, open= sendtoserver sourcefile=c:\test\mylocalfile.txt, targetfile=c:\testonserver\itisfromuser.txt, open=yes This will transfer the file mylocalfile.txt on the server side, in a folder named C:\testonserver and with the name itisfromuser.txt. If the folder C:\testonserver does not exists, it will be automatically created. Because I have set open=yes, Notepad will be automatically open with the session with the file itisfromuser.txt
